We went recently with family visiting. Typically we have done other racing related activities and tours but decided to trip this. We spent a little over 2 hours at this place. Had a great experience - Our guide (also photographer and question answerer) Isaac did a great job. It was nice to see racing from a slightly different angle and the "kids" (even the 71 year old in our group) loved the simulators at 200 mph. This is a definite recommend place to go in Indy.

We stopped off here when the Indy Raceway was closed one day. Our visit began with a short movie presentation about how Dallara started and what the company does. We then took a factory tour which was fairly informative. Our guide was knowledgeable but a little on the boring side. After the tour, we paid extra to ride in the street legal, two-seater Indy car they have available. It was driven by our guide. He took us around the block a couple of times. Although it was nothing like being on the track, we got up pretty fast on the straight-a-ways and you could feel the force of the turns. It was worth the extra money for the ride. Finally, we drove some of the simulators and looked around the museum and gift shop. We thought the simulators were really interesting but the gift shop is pretty weak.

There is a nice café in the same building serving good sandwiches and drinks if you need to grab a snack.

It is fascinating to see what is inside the Indi cars. The cars and information are worth a visit. The cost is nominal.

We stoppe here on our way through Indiana, and when we called we discovered there was a groupon available that was only $30. The groupon included the tour, simulators, and their photo op which was a great photo to remember the day. They do not offer military rates which is fine (we just ask everywhere we go). The rate for admission for the tour and simulators would have been $30 total but we paid $29 on groupon and also got the photo op (normally $15 each). The simulators aren't what we expected, they are more like video games but overall wa a great experience.
