We had a great dinner not too long ago... great staff, excellent food and wine. Tried some different appetizers and thoroughly enjoyed the entrees.

Went for Sunday brunch a couple times. Food was good but not great. Nice variety, but a little pricey for the quality. Very crowded ,not a place for young children. Service was a bit slow for just drinks.

Wonderful old mansion is the setting. Good menu selections, high prices which were not unexpected. However, the food was simply ok. A bit disappointing. Have had better filet mignon at local and/or chain restaurants in our hometown.

I went with a group of friends just to have a good time and look at the Christmas lights. We get there and it's somewhat busy, but not too bad. We were seated right away and our server came up promptly. We ordered drinks, which took awhile, but we were talking and having a good time. Upon ordering, I requested the holiday special, the Rainbow Trout, and we continued conversing.
Salads came and went. Then we realized our food was taking a very long time. When it did come, my entrée was cold. When the server checked on us, I let her know and she took the plate and said she'd tell a manager. Once again, it took some time for the manager to bring back a fresh entree. By then, my friends were done eating. The manager, who told me her name was Sherry, seemed angry that I had bothered her and she was rude. We love the house, our server was great, but we are never going back, until there's new management.

This is a fantastic place for a Sunday brunch! Whether it's a family celebration, baby shower, or any special occasion the food is always top notch!
There is something for every palette!

The atmosphere is awesome! A true piece of history. So glad it's still around to share with the community.

A great place to enjoy whether you are visiting South Bend or a lifelong resident. It never gets old to visit and is highly recommended.
