Notre Dame's campus is a great place to walk around. There a lot of things to see and do while you're there. Visit the Hammes Book store and stock up on Notre Dame items. The Snite art gallery is free to visitors and they have some beautiful works of art to view. Check out the Basilica it is a work of art by itself. Make it a day, walking around the campus and have lunch at one of the local resturant across the street from the University.

This is the most picturesque campus in the United States. The ideal time to visit would be during football season in the fall so that you can capture all the pageantry.

The campus of Notre Dame is wonderful, very well kept up, and has two lakes on it , both about a mile walk around.. The Basilica is one of the most well kept and beautiful in the world.. The Dome building inside is breath taking. The grotto is a place to have peace.. It is quite easy to get to, just off 933 North of South Bend, Indiana. Grab a bite to eat at Legends while you are there.Or the Morris Inn. Eddy Street Commons is right next to it.. So there is plenty of places to eat after a walk around!

This is a huge campus with lots of pedestrian walking areas but that means little parking and lots of walking. The buildings are well kept and there is lots of green space

A Mecca of history particularly for football, a stunning historical campus. You can really enjoy a day snooping around at the sights and history of the university grounds.
