“The food and service was excellent!”
Reviewed June 2, 2012 via mobile

We were pleasantly surprised that the food was so good. The ribs were excellent! Two of us ordered them and ate every single part of the meal. The sauce had just the right balance of heat and flavor. The New York strip was cooked to perfection. Drinks were great and wine list very adequate. Our server was attentive and helpful. Overall...Trios is a lovely dining experience. There are two menus, one for dinner and one for the jazz club later in the evening, but early diners may order off both menus.

“Good Wine and Drink Choices”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

Try the wine and drink choices on for size. I have not had any that weren't to my liking. The pastries that they make in house are to die for and their appetizers are abundant and filing!

“Great Music, Great Food, Friendly Service”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

I as well was here with a post wedding party. We came to the bar after the restaurant had closed. Earlier in the day I stopped in for a drink and a snack.

Had the Cajun Popcorn (crawdad tails). They were awesome!!! Slightly spicy with a couple of dipping sauces.

The atmosphere is very cool. Clean restrooms. Great music. The owner, bartender, and waitress were very friendly and attentive. They had a very good drink selection (Stella on tap with the Chalice).

Will definitely go again the next time I'm in the South Bend area!

“Champagne!”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

I was here with a large wedding party, post-reception, so it was late. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We caught the tail end of the live music, and what I heard was good. The ambiance is good for late night conversations, a few glasses of champagne, and hanging out with friends. The bottle of champagne was $18, which we all thought was more than fair. In fact, we had 2! I haven't had their food, but would definitely go back to try other drinks and food. It's just across the street from the Double Tree Hotel and Century Center, so that was a major plus for everyone walking back to the hotel. No taxi service needed!

“Good ambiance and decent dinner”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

We went here before a performance at Morris and had a wonderful meal. The server was thoughtful in keeping the dinner moving along as she knew we were somewhat pressed for time. I had the halibut, which was excellent and my husband the seared tuna, which he graded as an A. The martinis were watered down, but overall we were impressed with the experience. We typically dine in Chicago and were pleasantly surprised with the flavor, presentation, and service. After the show we returned for coffee and dessert and to listen to jazz. Service was a little slower, but it was fine.
