What Brigitte and Bruno offer is delightfully unique. Our accommodation was very spacious oozing with French charm. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and every detail was French country style. Our hosts know how to create a home away from home. Their cooking revolved around their garden and local producers (yumm!). They were only too pleased to attend to our every need and they engaged us and other guests in conversation with vivacity and enthusiasm. In addition, they had a fantastic knowledge of special points of interest and were able to apply that to our preferences. In all of our travels over 20 years, this French B&B in an idyllic tranquil setting ranks in the top five.

We stayed with Brigitte and Bruno at Les Pesques for 3 nights in August 2012 at the start of our holiday after flying to Toulouse. Theirs is a lovely French bed and breakfast with character, land and some animals where we were made to feel very welcome. We ate with the family/other guests on two evenings which was most enjoyable and typically French. It represents excellent value for money. The area is very peaceful though only a short distance by car to a small village with amenities.

We arrived in a rain storm but the welcome was very warm.
We had a fabulous visit to Les Pesques which was our first visit to France staying in bed and breakfast accommodation.
We were offered tea and cake on arrival which was gratefully received. We joined Brigitte and Bruno for the evening meal with another couple which was delightful.
Truly a wonderful experience which we will be repeating in the very near future.
Had a walk around the lovely garden before leaving taking numerous photographs.
Thank you Brigitte and Bruno.

If you've never tried a chambre d'hote (French bed and breakfast) this is a great place to start.
The house is old and traditional, oozing character and charm. Brigitte and Bruno LeBris make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and have some English so communication isn't a problem.
We stayed for two nights and ate our traditional evening meals with the family and other guests - a very enjoyable experience.
If you do a fly/drive holiday to Toulouse this is well worth a visit.

It's been almost 4 years since I met Brigitte LeBris and her family while spending a few days in her wonderful 19th century seigneurial home. I came upon her bed & breakfast in a book I had bought in Hamburg called "Chambres d'Hôtes Secrètes" written by Marie-Dominique Perrin in which she gives Brigitte a charming review. Brigitte is the heart and soul of this magnificent dwelling located in the Haute-Garonne region of southern France roughly located between Toulouse and the Pyrenees as you follow the Garonne river towards its source southwestward. It is a place to relax and tank up on pure nature. I enjoyed a steep jog in the Petites Pyrénées that begin just behind the house across some fields. It was a familial setting. I opted for Brigitte's dinner which included 3 courses plus wine. She once welcomed me with a fresh salad straight from her kitchen garden to the sound of paté, baguette and vino followed by e "Esteban bienvenu en France". The upstairs room has a lovely balcony and sepearate entrance and is my favorite. Do not pass up an excursion to Saint-Bertrand de Comminges, once the administrative seat of the old county. Nearby Martres-Tolosane has a superb restaurant right across the old trains station. Enjoy!

Room Tip: There are only 3 rooms as this is a B&B in a country estate.

We stayed with Brigitte and her family for 5 nights as we had a wedding to attend in Muret, slightly closer to Toulouse. Our desire to stay somewhere authentically French, relaxing and out in the countryside was perfectly met by Les Pesques. I had seen photos on their website and on Trip Advisor, but with the lilacs and roses blooming, I hadn't been prepared for how lovely the property really was.

We stayed in the Elizabeth Room - part of a renovated barn to the left of the main house. The room was spacious, with chairs comfortable for sitting, a generous bathroom with walk-in shower and a large double bed. All the furnishings are beautiful and in the French country style, with vases of fresh flowers from the garden. Brigitte's eye for detail is everywhere, with everything lovingly put together and cared for.

Breakfasts were enough to keep us from eating lunch most days, with fresh local bread, croissants which seemed to vary type every day, fruit, Brigitte's homemade jams and compotes, and big bowls of fresh coffee (of course you may have tea if you wish!).

We also ate with Brigitte and her family (unfortunately Bruno was away for work and we didn't get to meet him) on two evenings. It was a real treat for us to eat with a French family, and they tolerated our terrible lack of French very well (Brigitte's English is excellent) and we had a great time talking with them. The food is fresh, local and uncomplicated French cuisine at its best.

Brigitte and Bruno keep 17 chickens, a horse (named, I believe 'Jolie'), a pony, sheep and several cats (we saw at least 3), so this is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy the relaxing company of animals.

Not to forget Brigitte's petite brocante in the garden - a lovely way to spend time without having to leave the front gate.

The local area was beautiful, with vibrant markets in the closest town, Cazeres, and others such as Salies-du-Salat within half an hour's driving distance. Brigitte's advice on villages to visit was spot on, and we caught some magnificent views of the Pyrenees.

If you're looking for somewhere quiet and tranquil to completely relax and breathe in the fresh air and eat fresh food, this is the spot to stay. We can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: The Élisabeth Room has views right into the fields beside the house where the horse, pony and sheet...

We had a fabulous time staying with Brigitte at Les Pesques (don't forget to pronounce the final s!). A lovely relaxing place to stay in an old renovated farm, bedecked in wisteria blossom in April, roamed by cats and enlivened by nearby chickens, sheep (I even stroked one!), and horses, not to mention the little "brocante" or stylish junk shop Brigitte has created in the garden. We ate with Brigitte each night and enjoyed interesting discussions in both English and French with her and other guests till quite late. She is so full of useful information. Also took an enjoyable ramble down to the nearby stream and up the surrounding hills. A real taste of the French countryside which I can't recommend highly enough. Merci Brigitte et a bientot!
