I guess if you are shopping all day and want to grab a quick bite, this place is just fine. The food is not bad. The food is comfort food and plenty, just don't expect anything special. I will say the blueberry cheesecake is different. It is creamy and the crust is composed of crushed almonds. The cake was excellent.

If you want or need it, it's probably available at the Shipshewana Auction. I've never seen so many simultaneous auction rings going at one time.

We mix business and pleasure at the Shipshewana Auction. Six auction pits in action at the same time. There is always something unique at the auction. "One man's junk is another man's treasure" certainly applies here. Many interesting antique and collectable items.

We've never been to an auction quite like this. The auction is in a huge building and there are 5 or more auctioneers selling at the same time. Things for sale are set up in blocks so if you see something in one area and they are selling in another area, you have to make a choice as to which item you want most. Very unusual for us. You can either sign up in advance for a card or pay cash when you buy something. They sell just about anything you can think of. We have bought things there in the past and always feel like we got a good deal. LOL Fun and interesting place to see. Besides there is the huge flea market on the property. Flea market going Tues. and Wed. and auction Wednesday. Lots of things to see and do.

Whew, talk about an auction. 10 auctioneers at once. Want antiques, they've got them here. This building is huge. It's loud, it's busy but we found it most interesting and exciting. It's only on Tues. & Weds.
