We booked this as we "wondered Indiana" during spring break. It was by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Our kids Loved the pool!!! We loved the "happy hour" which was a suprise as we checked in-beer/wine/snacks/. It was very clean and the rooms were great!!! The employees were very nice and helpful and "went beyond". Would recommend it.

We stayed here instead of staying at the Comfort Inn in North Vernon again. The hotel was a gorgeous new Fairfield and very stylish. Safe area too.

Normally I am never really impressed by these mid-level chain hotels. They all fall into the "It'll do" category and blend together in the blur of my travels. Today however, I was actually taken aback by how nice this little hotel in Seymour, Indiana was. It is fairly new construction from the ground up so everything is still in fantastic shape. They obviously take care of the place too with it's tasteful decorations and nice finishes. The lobby is warm and inviting, the breakfast/snack area looked nice with it's 24 hour selection of fresh fruit, coffee and teas, and the pool/spa area looked very nice as well. We were given adjoining rooms for the family with a king suite and a double queen room and the layout with the little living area was nice. There isn't much in the immediate area so you would need a car to get to any kind of food or shopping but they do have a small selection of snacks and food in the lobby shop if you are desperate. If you find yourself in this nowhere town for business or pleasure I would totally recommend this hotel.

Stayed here while on a business trip. When I was booking, I had to decide between this or the Holiday Inn next door to it. Went with the Fairfield since I frequent Holiday Inns on my other trips. I must say, I was really impressed with this Fairfield. The Lobby and Breakfast area was very nice, but my biggest concern about a hotel is the actual guest room. You walk in and right off the bat, you notice the huge bathroom. The shower was very nice. I'm 6'5", and the shower head was very high up, which I like. The living area of the suite had it's own LG LCD TV, a iHome for your iPod, desk, sleeper sofa and easy chair. Yes, it is that big. The bedroom had another LG LCD TV, dresser, huge closet and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Bets a Hampton Inn bed hands down!

The front desk staff were very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job as well.

The breakfast in the lobby was also very good. The highlight is the "make-your-own-waffle" station. The also have Jimmy Dean biscuits, hot and cold cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, pastries, and the other usual hotel breakfast items.

The only negative I could give is that I stayed in the middle of the 3rd floor and the WiFi signal was pretty low. No other negatives though.

Next time I am in town, I'll try out the Holiday Inn next door. But like the title says, if you are looking for a place to stay in Seymour, you can't go wrong with this Fairfield Inn.

This is by far the BEST Fairfield Inn I have ever stayed in. It opened in March 2009 and is absolutely beautiful! Bright new furnishings, flat screen TV in room, gorgeous lobby area, free wifi in rooms and also a computer in the lobby for guests to use. There are several hotels and restaurants at this exit (#50B off of I-65, about an hour south of Indy), but this is the newest and nicest for sure. There is an outlet mall at the exit as well but most all of the stores are out of business.

I have stayed in some very special five star hotels, so I don't usually write review's about Fairfield Inn's, but this one deserves it. The property was only seven weeks old when I stayed there, so the new chairs, TV's color schemes, lobby etc was all utilized in this property. It was just a delightful place to stop off and rest, plus there were several reasonable restaurants in close proximity. If you find yourself traveling in this area and need a nice place to stay, this is it.
