It is Beautiful there..very clean.
But the showers are not for handicapped people no non slip mats and no handicapped bars in showers..this was the only negative to the campground..there are plenty of activities there..

We stayed here 8/12-8/15 in a king RV. The RV was somewhat dated, but worked well for our family. The only real complaint on the RV was the smell, very musty!! The campground is huge, well maintained and good layout. The golf carts are super annoying, but when they charge $50/day to rent it makes sense why they don't care how many are in use! This resort is right around the corner from Holiday World which was our main reason for this visit. We spent Sunday at Holiday World and planned to hangout at the Santa's Splash Down and pool at the resort on Monday. To our surprise and disappointment the water slides were closed. My youngest son was so upset. This was going to be the first time he could ride a water slide on his own because he was finally tall enough! Though it was the start of off season it was not stated in any of the websites or brought to our attention at check in that is would be closed. We headed to the pool in hopes of some kind of fun. The pool was filled with bugs and hair. So gross. It appeared that no one skimmed or vacuumed it at all that day. Not only was that closed, but the activities they advertised were not in session either. Such a disappointment! Not everyone has the ability to vacation in the peak dates, but it should be known that most of the campground is a ghost town during the week.

Was just there Aug 2-6th. First time stay and we stayed in the family cabins. Ages 6, 8, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 37, 49 and 75 .Campground is gorgeous and well kept. Landscaped well and maintained. The activities center and store all well kept. Pool and watersides well kept. Our cabin site very nice. Site 220. Lots of things for kids to do including: arts and crafts, movie nights, paddle boats, kyaks, fishing, golf carts and GLOW parade, Basketball courts, sand volleyball, hiking trails, and nearby Holiday World amusement park. All of this was outstanding. They have a shuttle to and from Holiday World that runs non stop all day. Will pick you up and drop you off right at your cabin. The only negative I have to give and the reason I gave it a 3 was because of our cabin. It wasn't because of it being dirty or anything, it just is showing it's age. I know the park does plan to continue to replace some of the older cabins . For the amount of time we spent in the cabin, it really didn't matter if it was outdated or not, but if your expecting something new and current, look into one of the newer cabins. Appliances all worked, plumbing all worked, had a picnic table out front and on the back deck. Had fire pit and grill. AC worked great. We had all the necessities. Bring your own blankets and towels. We had a nice flat site. Many of the sites are on a hill with little or no flat areas. Be sure to ask about that if you want a flat site. The staff is all very nice and helpful. Peaceful, enjoyable stay. Local Casino 40 min away. Local grocery and hardware 1/4 mile away.

Room Tip: Find out which Cabins are the new ones and ask if it is on a hill or flat site.

This campground is a must for families! It is very clean, has tons of free amenities, and provides camping for everyone from tenters to glampers! Be sure to rent a golf cart if you have kiddos, as they love riding around in it; plus, there is a parade on Thursday and Saturday night. Everyone decorates their cart and drives through the campground. So much fun for everyone! Being right next to Holiday World is a major plus, but you don't even need to leave the campground to have a great time! The RV's for rent are clean and pretty comfortable, for a camper. The tent sites are nice and shaded, with plenty of room to spread out a bit. Once your family experiences this great park, you'll be sure to make it a family tradition!

We stayed here strictly out of convenience for our Holiday World visit. But the campground is so impressive we are already planning a trip with a longer stay next year. The facilities are very clean, we stayed in our RV and the campsite was very comfortable and clean. We were right up against the woods with a little creek where my 3 boys could climb and explore. We did get to swim in the pool, and they have added some ginormous water slides for the cost of $8.95 per day per person. I don't really like that any extras seemed a little pricey, but it is probably the reason the place is so nice. Another tip, if you plan on staying over a Saturday do yourself a favor and rent the golf cart at the time you book. Bring stuff to decorate your golf cart with because they do a golf cart parade every Saturday evening. We got there on Friday night and all the carts were already booked. We still had a great time, and Holiday World was a blast also. A lot to see plan on more than one day in the park and an extra day or so to really enjoy the campground. If you don't have an RV they do offer cabins and rental RVs.
