We are only past the first night of our stay but I already know we will only stay here when we come back to Holiday World. We have stayed in many places in this area over the years and compared to other places, this is cleaner, roomier, with many more things to do onsite: fishing, swimming, playground, game room. Very friendly service with lots of games and activities for free checkout. My son loved feeding the fish with the bucket of food they give you at checkin. Private porch with swing and hammock and swing set in the backyard. Just a really neat place!

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Holiday World ( Only 5 Minutes away). We Loved it. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We rented the 2 bedroom 10 person cabin. We only had 8 people but it was perfect.

The back patio facing the the lake was nice and peaceful. We left the ceiling fan on while we were out there and that seemed to keep the mosquitoes away.

The kids had fun feeding the fish, playing basketball, and playing in the gameroom. The adults enjoyed the quite and relaxing atmosphere and the fire pit out back off the patio.

There was a tv in each room and the wifi seemed strong. Never had any problems with streaming on my phone.

It might seem expensive at 200-300 a night but with several families staying in one cabin it offset the price. Plus if you bring groceries and cook while there instead of going out to eat ( Not many options anyway). You can really save money.

The only real complaint was the porch swing on the back was plastic and it was separating while sitting on it.

A FEW HELPFUL HINTS
1. Get the linen package for 40 bucks.
2. Bring groceries and enjoy the full kitchen and backyard grill.

Overall we had a great time and look forward to returning again.

This resort had absolutely everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. This was a multi-generational family vacation and the owners truly thought of everything - fire pit, stocked pond, basketball, swimming pool, playground, arcade/game room...our kids were in heaven! It was also about a 5-minute drive from Holiday World, so extremely convenient! We will definitely be staying here again next year.

Just finished a wonderful 3 night stay here over the 4th of July. Perfect spot for kids of all ages to be active while the adults relax. We even avoided tv the entire stay, which says a lot for kids these days. They especially loved the pool, fishing, and s’mores over the campfire. We loved the back porch overlooking the lake so we could keep an eye on them. The place is small, so easy and safe to walk to everything. And the owners are so friendly and easygoing while managing to maintain and meet any needs that might arise. Spent the first evening and one full day happily occupied around the resort, then a full day at holiday world.

We had two 2-bedroom cabins amongst 4 families plus grandparents. So a total of 10 adults and 4 kids. It would have been tight if we had all been there each night, but we only all overlapped one night so it was fine. Otherwise, we would have preferred adding another cabin. Great choice to be right next door to each other so we were easily back and forth. And very close to the pool and office store from cabins 16 & 17.

All around great spot for families looking for a getaway where you can just enjoy each other’s company. Only thing to note is that restaurant pickings seem a little slim in the area, so be ready to cook. And the full kitchens and charcoal grills make that easy and fun.

We have 4 grown children & their families that live in 4 different states than we do. We all get to be together maybe once a year. There were 15 of us in 2 different cabins. It is a beautiful, clean & very comfortable resort close to Holiday World. We had one small problem with coffee pot not working. Told the owner & got us a new one within a couple of hours! We highly recommend this resort!

Room tip: They are all good!
