If you plan to spend more than one day at Holiday world, then this place is worth the money based on location and lack of options. We reserved a family suite that was available early(always a plus). Easy check in, dropped off luggage and went to Holiday World. Room was clean, plenty of towels, refrigerator, beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy, but we hardly spent time in the hotel. As long as you don't expect the Ritz Carlton, you will be happy you stayed here.

Side note, no alcohol sales on Sunday, so bring your own!

I wish I would have read these reviews but we booked at the last minute and checked everywhere within a 30 mile radius. The only other place with a room available was Motel 6 which we would have had to book two rooms to fit and they couldn't be side by side. Anywhoo, if I was blindfolded I don't think I would have been able to tell the difference. Acutally the beds might be more comfortable at Motel 6. The establishment needs to take some of that money that they overcharge and by new mattresses. Buffett was ok but not worth the price. The price of room should have included a free breakfast buffett. Only about 8-10 channels on the old tube type tv. Bed was hard and I mean, the mattresses must have been AT LEAST 20 yrs old. Dead bug in bathroom. Tiny bathroom. Jacuzzi tub right in the middle of the room. I mean who would get a King suite for a family and really use this? Overall, it would be worth the drive in like we did before. The only thing nice about this place was the location in proximity to Holiday World.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere and stay somewhere nicer even if the price is comparable to the lodge. Believe me, you will sleep better!

It was a decent place people were friendly and clean. It was highly out of date but you still pay the same price. There is no wifi and the tv's are still tube tv's unless you are placed on the bottom floor then you got a plasma tv.

Terribly overpriced at $245 a night. Very outdated, beds are very uncomfortable, shower very poor water pressure. Food at St. Nick's was like eating in a school cafeteria. The staff is not friendly. Classic situation of people taking advantage of a tourist trap like Holiday World to screw families. Would not stay here again!!

Room Tip: Go somewhere else

The people are truly nice, but the surroundings were old, dirty and run down. The miniture golf, which is an extra charge to play, has leaves and sticks on the course and bushes grown up. The pond/fountain is filthy and not running. The hot tub was dirty as was the pool area. No towels were in the pool area the two different times I went in (the afternoon before and the next morning). I had to ask for towels. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I like firm beds, but this was ridiculous. The food was fair but the set-up of the buffet area is definitely different. It intercepts with the entrance and exit causing a lot of confusion while trying to serve yourself at the buffet, paying at the counter, coming into the restaurant or leaving the restaraunt.. The cash register to pay is amongst all of this as well. It was very costly for this run down place. I won't be staying again. It sure makes me think that I need to invest in land and build a motel close to the park because this one isn't going to make it.
