I picked this place based on the trip advisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The cottages seem new and are very clean. We added the linens package and it was well worth it. It's a little cramped for four adults and a child, but for two nights it was fine. The bed was super cozy and I was told the trundle bed was as well. Loved the location and amenities. My 2 year old loved the fish and the ducks. The owners were super nice and accommodating. After staying in a place like this there is no reason to stay in a hotel again. My family quickly decided we should make this an annual family outing, going to Holiday World and staying at these cottages. The only suggestion I can think of, is maybe get rid of the sandbox in the children's play area. My son of course loved it, but as a parent tracking the sand around and getting it out of his clothes and shoes and the car is a pain. Obviously this is very minor. Only reason I mention it at all is because other kids clearly abuse it, trashing the beautiful children's sized cottage. It's a shame others don't have the same respect for property, and you can tell other families clearly are not supervising their kids. It clearly states in the rules not to take sand in the play house. So that would be my suggestion - just eliminate the sandbox! :p Seriously though, wonderful place to stay and can't wait to return! Thank you for living up to the reviews and exceeding our expectations!
