We spent just one night here but it was certainly memorable. Karin made us feel very welcome on our arrival, offering us tea and cakes on the lawn. Sadly we couldn't take her up on the offer as we arrived too late as we had pre booked dinner. The room was absolutely stunning, amazingly comfortable bed and so peacefully quiet as you'd expect being in a sleepy little village. The breakfast was a real treat, fresh strawberries, blueberries, stewed prunes and apricots, mueslis and the cooked breakfasts!! Some of the best black pudding I've ever tasted! Just wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days!
