The first point to note is that the current website does not do this wonderful B&B justice. I stayed at the Manor with my husband; we are a young couple that enjoy cycling weekend all across the UK.
The B&B is a tastefully refurbished sixteenth century building in a stunning setting. The room and en-suite bathroom were clean, warm and just the right size. Every detail had been given discrete attention and the bathroom was full of goodies, which was reflective of the hospitality we received throughout our stay.
Upon arrival, Karin offered us tea, accompanied by a delightful home-made treats. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The only factor that may be a disadvantage to some is that there is no TV, although I have to say it makes for a much more relaxing get-a-way and the room (and the rest of the house) is furnished with an extensive range of books. In any event, the setting is so spectacular that it would be criminal to watch TV with so much else on offer.
All in all, this B&B is an excellent choice for all those looking for a quiet break in the incomparable and beautiful Cotswolds.
