Review of Holiday Drive-In

Holiday Drive-In

We love the drive in although my children don't always cooperate. This drive in has double screens per area. This means that for every 2 screens you have a large field to park within. This means that as you get toward the projector building, you end up with blended cars. Some watching one way and the others watching the other way. All of the audio is sent through radio fm. So, if you are next to someone watching Baywatch while you're watching Guardians of the Galaxy, you both get to hear each other's car stereo speakers. Extremely distracting. If you are anywhere near ADHD, do yourself a favor and park up front or equip your group with headphones.
But still.....it's the drive in and you gotta love it!

My first ever trip to the drive in theater was a magnificent experience. I went to see King Arthur with my family, and man what an experience! Being able to lay in the back of a long bed truck piled in blankets and pillows with a cooler of drinks and snacks in the great outdoors was something else. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced. You must visit this place for the experience alone. It's a lovely, wonderful way to watch a movie but also feel disconnected with the world and connected with nature all at the same time. There's nothing like watching a movie with the backdrop being the stars...

The Holiday Drive In is a special place. It allows us to visit a simpler time in life where a family or a car load of friends could enjoy a movie in the great outdoors. In recent years the owners have made great improvements to this time capsule located in Reo. They are open on Fri, Sat, and Sun for your viewing pleasures. There is a concession stand to enjoy food and drink just like we did many years ago. This place truly is a classic!

This is good old time drive-in theater. At times you could go from one movie to the next this place brings back the days of old

I love it here. I go with my wife and a group of friends. The staff is nice. The prices are good for a movie theater.
