“New.. Very contemporary hotel.”

The little swing me at these hotels. Mac CPUs in lobby, full bar(closes early), service is very attentive. Very clean because of the newness. Have to pay for breakfast though.. They do not treat platinum ambassador with any separation, which I hate.. No upgrade on room, no free breakfast, not even the acknowledgment.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for one night. We arrived in the evening and left in the early morning for a gymnastics meet. So, we didn't really get to see or use any of the hotel's amenities. However, the clerk at the front desk was very friendly. Also, it is a newer hotel, so everything was very modern and just had a clean look. We had a room with 2 double beds and there was plenty of room for the three of us. The bathroom was very nice with plenty of room, as well. The only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the bathroom was very dull and yellowed (which makes it difficult when trying to apply make-up). For the price, I would have enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We stay in hotels quite a bit since we travel frequently for gymnastics meets, and most of the hotels we stay in offer a complimentary breakfast and are actually cheaper than what we paid here. The reviews I read for the hotel before our stay all seemed quite negative, so I was quite nervous. However, I thought it was a fairly nice hotel other than the noise level in the hallways.

We like to apologies about noise outside hallway. We will make sure that kids sports group will be assigned on separate floor so our guests do not have to experience noise issue.

I picked this hotel as it said it was a new hotel. Holiday Inn has done a nice job on turning their brand around. The hotel is very modern and the rooms are nice. My only complaint was there were very long hairs on one of the beds conforters. Also hairs on my pillow. The bed did not give me a clean feeling.

We enjoyed our stay. Comfy room except for no blanket. We got in late and didn't realize we didn't have a blanket until the middle of the night. :( Brrr!
I asked about it and they said there should have been one in there but could have called down. They did apologize for the inconvenience.
You have a choice for breakfast but have to pay for it. It was quick and pretty tasty.
Definitely will stay again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Richmond twice over the Thanksgiving holiday. We arrived late and was checked in by the same nighttime desk clerk. Both nights, she was completely spaced out and rather unprofessional. On one occassion, she had trouble determining whether our Orbitz reservation had been paid for, and went so far as to write our credit card number down "so we don't have to stand there while she sorted the whole thing out". Needless to say, we were very uncomfortable with the whole transaction. She also tried to reassure us by repeatedly telling us about the dozens of security cameras that are present, but that did nothing but increase our unease. We insisted on getting that piece of paper back, and there are no erroneous charges on our credit ycard. The morning desk clerk made amends by giving us extra rewards points for having to deal with that situation.

The hotel is clean and modern, but the elevators are a bit annoying because each of the two lifts have their own button to summon them...not one button to control them both like most. Also, there are only two luggage carts for the whole building.

It is unlikely that we will choose the Holiday inn in Richmond next time we come through.

We loved this hotel! Our room was brand new...as in never been slept in. So no complaints here! Everything was super clean and smelled that way. I would have liked breakfast included. But there is a restaurant on site where you can get breakfast if you like. Free WiFi was great. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in town.

very nice hotel . it is brand new. lobby smells great. the rooms are great too. new linen and tv's. the location is not the greatest but the hotel makes it worth it. Can see it right off I70. easy to find

Room Tip: ask for a room on the 3rd or 4th floor.
