We stayed at this Hotel while we visited our son at OCU. Location was good.. right next to highway and Walmart. Hotel was clean and comfortable and breakfast was well presented with a good choice. Cookies in the evening were a nice touch. No guest laundry was a disappointment, although the laundry service as quick and well priced.
I'll stay here again next time I visit this area.

Great value for $63 with AAA. VERY CLEAN! Great location, right next to Wal-Mart.
Much cheaper than anything towards French Lick or Holiday World if you don't mind the drive. (Actually very nice drive with some interesting small towns along the way)
Brerakfast was set up well and well-maintained.
Everyone at hotel was very nice and helpful!
Room was spotless, internet was good and nice flat-screen TV.
Love the King beds at Fairfield's. Very comfy, but not too soft.
AC worked well, although a bit nosiy as the wall units always are.
Pool and Spa were very clean, plenty of towels.

Loved the place!

We have stayed at quite a few Fairfield Inns over the years and this one was absolutely above and beyond. Very clean and in good shape for not a brand new hotel. Lots of good, fresh breakfast choices and friendly staff. We used points so I can't really rate the value, but it was a great Cat. 1.

We stayed here for 3 nights when traveling for a family reunion. We actually drive over to Mt. Carmel, IL (about 10 miles), so we don't know too much about Princeton, but this is a great hotel for being close to small towns on the IL border. There is a Walmart across the parking lot from the hotel, so that was a very nice convenience! When we first checked in and went to our room, the room looked as thought it belonged to someone else - bed unmade, bathroom used. So, we informed the front desk, and they moved us to another room quickly (they even moved the fridge from the used room to our new room! - thanks Brad!). The hotel also discounted our first night to make up for that problem.

The room we stayed in was very clean, and kept that way each day by the housekeeping staff. The bathroom counters are a little small, but we like that the toilet and shower are in a separate room from the counter, sink and mirror - more people can get ready at once! Our beds were VERY comfortable, and the linens were GREAT - none of those 1970's scratchy polyester quilted spreads here!! Amazing pillows, firm mattresses with those great soft pillow tops, and a great cozy spread on top. The breakfast each morning is great (would have liked it to be open longer, but other than that, great!), and they have a nice pool area (indoors to keep kids out of the sun, but you can open sliding glass doors and sit in a lounge chair outside and get your sun and still keep a great eye on the kiddos!) and the hot tub was also roomy and nice.

Some of our other family members had some problems upon check-in also, but again, the issues were corrected quickly and they were adequately compensated. We got a great rate for our family reunion. Again, their rooms were GREAT.

The only other issue was on our final night there - the fire alarm went off at 2:30AM and we, of course, went outside to wait. Firefighters responded very quickly (good job for Princeton FD!). Someone in our group had gone to the lobby to see what was going on, but no one was around and throughout the entire evacuation, we could not find any hotel staff. Eventually, we were allowed back in and we THINK that the problem was a malfunction with the sprinkler system - however, no one from the staff ever commented on the event or bothered to explain. When we woke up the next morning, our bill was under the door and we were not offered any compensation for being dragged from a sound sleep (while under the influence of Ambien and having to carry half-asleep 5 and 3 year olds with no help). So, I'm sure this was a one-time thing, but it was not very fun (I'm sure it will make good stories later!), and I did not appreciate that the staff did not respond.

We WOULD stay here again, but I would hope that management can make some changes in operation between now and then.

We had to book a hotel at the last minute because our previous one was less than appealing. We saw this Fairfield Inn as we drove through town on our way to Evansville. We checked in and from the moment we got there, it was a relief! Non-smoking hotel throughout, comfy beds, large flatscreen TV, spacious rooms, great hot tub & indoor pool! We even walked next door to the Super Wal-Mart to get food for supper! The complimentary breakfast was awesome...saved even more $$$! They had waffles, sausage biscuits, cereal, and all the normal breakfast foods. I would highly recommend this stay if you are in the Vincennes-Evansville, IN area. We visit family in SE Illinois and there is nothing there...even though this hotel is an hour from our family, we are seriously considering staying there when we go back to visit! It was that great!

We booked this hotel the same day that we stayed there. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The rooms were clean & very nice. We enjoyed getting in the hot tub for a little while (there is also an indoor swimming pool). The whole hotel is smoke free!! The breakfast was great (waffles, sausage biscuits, cereal, donuts, etc.) Very convenient off the highway. Right next door to a Wal-Mart. We feel it would even be worth a long drive to stay there when we visit family. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
