Sometimes you just need a decent place to lay your head down and a shower. The bed was fine but the shower wasn't very good. (Weak flow due to something plugging up the head.)

I have stayed at far too many Super 8 properties during my years of business travels, and when I book at a "Pride of Super8" property, I expect to pay a little more and receive a little more.Besides having a pool and a whirlpool of some kind, this Super 8 is lacking in the basics, no elevator, not much to offer for breakfast,no flat screens, scratchy towels, one shampoo bottle in a queen double etc, etc. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and had a micro/fridge,so this is not a dump by any means. If the mgt. wanted to, this place could be really nice. But for now its just an average Super8 that charges more(About$10-$15 a night)- than most others Super8's.I frequent.

Oh, lord! White trash, no elevator and smoking, then this is the place for you!! Everyone is smoking, kids running around, people in their UNDERWEAR, young girls and women running around in their bras and dad in their underwear. We were very displease with the man the was working at 10pm at night. He was very cocky, rude, and very full of him self. The lady in the morning was so lazy, she had us place our rooms keys on counter while sat and talked on her phone at 10am. She rolled her eyes when I asked to check out. NO ELEVATOR!! NO JOKE!! VERY OLD hotel, NOT updated in 2010!! We did get upgrade to a king suite, bc they we booked on rooms. Not to say that was a good thing, bc we sat right over the hotel breakfast/commons/stairwell area. BAD IDEA! There was dried pee on the floor. Hotel was very dated, very few channels on cable, smelled bad of smoke, old tv's, bedding, beds, ect. Did not see any bugs. The place need a overhaul, with hotel staff, over all look, and NON SMOKING! Best part, hotel did seem to have nice breakfast set up and the pool looked very clean and well kept.

Room Tip: Very slow WI-FI

We stayed at the Super 8 for only one night. We were in Plymouth to see my son off to Afghanistan for a a year of service with the military. The room was extremely clean, which we appreciated. The amenities were minimal, though. Little things I noticed....a tiny bottle of shampoo, no conditioner, no hand lotion. Minimal quantities of towels. The light in the bathroom had several choices as to how long you wanted the light on.....then it went off. If you were in the shower any longer than 10 min. then you were in the dark. We went down for breakfast and 9:20 am and it was gone. Our time (Chicago time) was still 8:20 am...no breakfast there, but we went across to Bob Evans which was handy anyway. The manager asked the "breakfast" lady to get us something and she said the muffins were frozen already (after 20 min.?) -- we could have put them in the microwave.....Overall a good bargain if you want a comfortable bed and an extremely clean room.

Our room was nice and clean. There was not a hint of a bad odor in the room at all. This motel was a good value for just sleeping. The free breakfast was good. It was much better than most breakfasts at cheaper motels like this. We liked that the motel had interior corridors unlike most $66.00 a night places. The hallway looked like it had new carpet in it. Our room had older furniture, but the beds felt new. The bad parts were: The air conditioner unit was really old. Also, the door to our room was hanging too low so that the automatic lock locked, but the deadbolt wouldn't lock. Then, the side door to the hotel which led out to the highway didn't lock even though it said on the door that a key card would be needed to unlock it. Don’t let what I say about the doors discourage you from staying here though. Because, Plymouth is a fairly small town and we felt very safe. We didn’t see any shady characters. We will stay here again if we are in the area. It is obvious that this motel’s management takes great pride in their property and that they want to make your stay enjoyable.

I stay here 10+ nights a month. Great price. Susan, Mary and Laura are wonderfully helpful. Night man is very nice and does a great job. This hotel is clean. Most of the beds are good. Some rooms still have the old flat mattresses though.
