My friend and I stopped at this location around 10:30pm on February 10, 2014.We were planning on staying the night in Indianapolis, but Plainfield seemed like a nice place to stop instead. We were greeted by a hostess whose demeanor was less than pleasant, but she was able to get us checked in and on our way rather quickly.
The room was spacious for the two of us. It was very clean, warm, and the beds were comfortable, no complaints there. The hair dryer didn't work, but I only found that out about 15 minutes before we had to check out - it was only a slight inconvenience.
However, the hallways smelled like smoke (not the room, thank goodness) and I was awoken at 5:30am by some sort of domestic dispute happening in the hallway. A woman was screaming about how the person she was with put his hands on her. I did not personally investigate what was going on, but I did hear the police arrive. The commotion lasted for about 45 minutes total. This of course was not the hotels fault, just something that happened during my stay.
My friend ate the breakfast, she said it was ok. I didn't wake up in time to go down to breakfast, but she brought me back a yogurt which was good.
All in all, I was not overly impressed. It's a cheap spot to spend the night if you need it.More
