Fresh, hand cut, and made with love- if your grandma owned a bakery, this is how she would have done it! Friendly and inviting atmosphere, good company, and always the best donuts. Quality is a sticking point, and from what I've heard, always has been.
Get there early, and watch the guys in the back make them! It's amazing how much hard work goes into each donut! And remember to bring cash- it's old fashioned. No credit cards, but they will take checks.
I suggest a lemon, or simply a plain cake. Even the small ones fill you up!
Oh, and call in for reservations- they will hold donuts for you! It's awesome!
