We had a hillside villa (two couples, two rooms) to ourselves with our own private pool!
The main pool is located on the beach, great location and uninterrupted views of the bay islands. Very quiet beach and periods of very quiet pool however busy times in early morning and later afternoon.
Breakfast buffet very good however lunch and dinner more limited - better to go outside the resort. A great "Italian" style beach restaurant just a couple of minutes walk along the beach. The resort was undergoing renovation when we visited so there were no spa facilities... they reckon to be fully finished the renovation October 2017.

Room tip: Go for the separate beach or hill villas.

- Price: Not too much expensive but for high season, it increas sharply.
- Location: Center of Tuan Chau island, nearby amusement park, nearby cruise habour but far from Bai Chay beach
- Room: Big one with nice view to beach, good decor but the jacuzzi in bathroom throw off some trash and do not have enough hot water for filling tub
- Breakfast: quite poor, almost have nothing valuable since I was there on low season, few guest only
- Staff: so so

Service wasn't great and the English proficiency was poor. They gave us an upgrade to rooms across the street, which wasn't an issue, but the lighting at night to get to the rooms was so poor it was almost dark. There was only one English channel to watch which was Discovery. Hotel food was poor.

I stayed there for 2 nights last week, the resort is old, service with smile. They have great location to enjoy the view of Halong Bay with hundreds of Islands in front of the resort. They director of operation told me that they are planning for renovation. A great location in the North Vietnam for retreat.
