Woodhaven is a very comfortable fully equipped home away from home. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend enjoying our two sons, their wives and our 1 1/2 year old grandaughter. We spent Friday evening just relaxing, visiting, playing pool, and playing with our granddaughter. Saturday we arose after a good nights sleep in very comfortable beds (all of us in agreement on this). After coffee prepared in the provided Keurig and a light breakfast, we spent part of the day shopping in multiple interesting shops in Nashville. Due to rain, freezing rain, and increasing snowfall, several shops were closed so we went back to Woodhaven. Bill, one of the owners, had stopped by in the morning to warn us of the impending weather and to assure us he would keep the drive clear for us and to call him if we needed anything. I had talked to Bonnie, the other owner and Bills wife, the day we arrived because I had failed to get the key code for the door to get in (my fault). She too was equally helpful and friendly. We cooked our dinner with everything we needed (except the food) in the fully equipped kitchen. After eating we played games (several to choose from provided in the house), shot pool, and spent the evening relaxing and visiting. My wife and I relaxed in the hot tub before all went to bed. Sunday morning as we prepared to head home, Bill was there to clear the driveway for our safe departure down the long , curving driveway. I fully recommend Woodhaven to anyone who wants a nice private, quite weekend away in a wonderfully secluded home. Thanks again Bill and Bonnie, Randy and family
Woodhaven is wonderful! Spacious, private, well-equipped, and relaxing. Close enough to Nashville and Bloomington to be convenient, yet in a private, country setting.
Bonnie, the host, does a great job with providing plenty of towels, a Keurig machine, a nice library of dvd's, and a well-equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the wonderful hot tub, the nightlights throughout the house, and the fact that all of the four bedrooms have an attached bathroom.
Do note: the driveway is steep and graveled dirt, so it takes some confident navigating.
We met our children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. It was well equipped to cook and serve Thanksgiving dinner for 8! We enjoyed the quiet and serene location. Beautiful views.
Staying at The Woodhaven was an escape to the tranquil surroundings of Nashville. We loved having our own house, and no worries about disturbing anyone. It was very peaceful despite the thunderstorms. We truly enjoyed seeing the deer, gray squirrels, and different birds. Lots to do in the area and beautiful scenery. Bill and Bonnie were wonderful as our host and hostess. We had everything we could want in their spacious rental. They took care of every detail to make it a perfect place to stay…well above-and-beyond what we expected.

We took our family for the weekend here over spring break. We had a wonderful time. Very comfortable, so much to do, every single detail was thought of. It's a home away from home. Everything you need to make your family comfortable and make many lasting memories here. Also the owners are wonderful people to work with! We'll definitely be back here ASAP! :)
