“Great atmosphere, good food, fine prices”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

While spending a day in Nashville, my mom, aunt, and grandmother stopped in at the Artist's Colony Restaurant. I've passed it on other occasions but was in town over lunch this time. The menu looked good to all of us, and between the three of us, we decided to try the pot pie, the grilled pork tenderloin w/slaw, and the quiche/soup combo. All of us would rate our meal a B+ or better, but I don't think any of us felt that it worth "writing home about." I'd go back, but I'd probably try something else just to keep exploring my options, and to see if I could find that A+ meal.

Atmosphere feels like a nice big country living room, with fireplace and all. There's also a small patio, but we ate inside due to the rain that day.

All in all, would recommend! Excellent service, and fair prices (on avergae, $8-9 for lunch).

“pretty good”

Food was ok. Didn't care for the incessant screaming baby being ignored @next table. Felt a little limited in choices.

“Amazing!!”

A trip to Nashville is not complete unless you eat here. We have been here several times. It is always wonderful. Would reccomend a reservation for large parties at dinner time.

After the bad experience at holy cow, we ended up here. Nice and relaxing. Loved the historic feel of the inn. Food was good and we enjoyed our meal.

“OK”

The breakfast buffet was only $4 extra with our room. Not worth much more. Biscuts and gravy was good, The sausage was microwaved, as was the bacon. The cinamon pastry was good. Service was ok, nothing special
