Hidden Valley Inn
Ranked #10 of 24 Nashville B&B and Inns
Reviewed October 19, 2012

There are lots of places to stay in Nashville, Indiana, but if you want a condo/suite type of experience, the Hidden Valley Inn is superb! For several friends traveling together, this worked just great. There is a very large separate bedroom with a pull-out couch in the living room. Some units have fireplaces in the living room, too. There is a kitchen that includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove burners, dishwasher, and sink, and it also has a great table with four comfortable chairs and basic dishes, cutlery, and pans. The bathroom is huge, and there is even an extra sink with a mirror in the bedroom. Muffins and juice and coffee are provided each day or there are plenty of places to eat that are just a short stroll away. Nashville is a great area for shopping or there is a lot of beautiful country to explore which is only a short drive away. Choose the Hidden Valley Inn for your headquarters for a great time when exploring Brown County, Indiana.

The rooms was very clean. Check-in and out was quick and easy. It's in a great spot, right next the to a Christmas store called the Holly Shop! It's close to all the shops and not a bad drive to Brown County State Park. There are lots of great stores in Nashville as well. We got a lot of our Christmas shopping out of the way. A visit to the Big Woods Pizza Co. is a must and it's really close to the Inn.

Room Tip: A205 was a great room.

This hotel was very clean and the extra room was nice. Close to town but not in the center of everything. Once we arrived we didn't have to drive anywhere. Great deck to enjoy the outdoors. Only downside was a strong cleaning order when we first arrived and no wine glasses. I would stay here again

Every year for a weekend in October, we take a girls trip and stay in Hidden Valley inn. We love that we can walk to/from everything from the hotel. We love that they always accommodate our very late arrivals. The rooms are always spotless and its a great value!!!!!! The best kept secret in Nashville

Room Tip: We travel with 2 elderly women so we always request ground level rooms as they do not have elevator...

The price is great. There's lots of room, love the suite setup, so one person can sleep in and the other can watch tv or cook in the living/kitchen area. Lots of cable channels, wifi works great. It's at the end of town, quiet and yet an easy walk downtown to the shops and restaurants. They supply coffee, tea, juice and muffins for breakfast. Or you can cook on the 2 burner stovetop or in the microwave. Or for a good breakfast just walk across the street to Muddy Boots for eggs, meats, omelets or pancakes and try their homemade jams too, very good. Lots of storage space and your own patio or balcony with chairs and table to sit outside. Full size fridge, sofabed in living room with fireplace and a dishwasher too! Compared to what you get at the other hotels for alot more money, its a no brainer! Now don't ya all go and book up my room for my next visit!

Room Tip: The rooms face the street side or the back parking lot, 3rd floor rooms are level with parking lot i...

I really liked staying here. You have to know a few things about this place however. It is sort of a cross between motel/hotel/condo. For example, the office is open from 9am-7pm, so if you need anything outside of these times, too bad. Also you walk outside to get into your room, but the walkways are covered and nicely decorated. I got a really nice room, it wasn't huge and a little outdated, but clean and quiet and very comfortable. I was on the 3rd floor so vaulted ceilings, and a nice private deck out back, plus a Jacuzzi in the very large bathroom. The small kitchen is fully stocked including some juice and muffins a nice snack to arrive to. I booked a low season rate and found it to be a very good value for the area. Wish I could have stayed a couple nights!

Room Tip: 3rd floor!
