What a great place to hang out for a cup of the perfect coffee. Nice people and a wonderful collection of antiques and oddities. What a fun stop!

Any time I am in Brown County, I stop in here for a cinnamon orange spice tea. They will make it warm or cold and it is the best. (They also sell loose tea and coffee).

We also had lunch/breakfast here on Sunday. Sundays for winter they are serving breakfast all day. My BF had the country fried steak and eggs, I had the 4 cheese grilled cheese. It was actually toasted.

The food is excellent too. The service was excellent. the drinks are fantastic. the food is very good. it's too loud there for my tastes. If you want to come here to relax and linger over one of their amazing cocktails. All the mixed drinks here are creations, art, really, appealing to the taste, the eye, the sense of smell.

Even though I'm not a big coffee drinker, I just had to buy one when I went.

The people inhabiting this coffee shop go out of their way to make you feel like you belong there.

Unbeknownst to us, the regulars bring in a breakfast buffet to share. How wonderful! They encouraged us to try some, even though we came empty handed.

What a treasure trove of down home friendliness! The best of Indiana, makes me proud to be a Hoosier.

No other place in Nashville, will you be more welcomed and feel more at home than at Common Grounds. Iris and her eclectic coffee and tea shop is the favorite by locals. Every morning, you can expect to see the regulars there with their cup of coffee discussing the news in town. After school, the kids stop in to tell Iris the happenings of their day and to get a smoothie while they do homework and practice their piano. Assorted teas, coffees, smoothies, pastries, quiche and other goodies are available all day. The shop is lined with bookshelves full of books and magazines to look through and purchase. A puzzle is on the back table to work on if you would like. Baskets, tea cups, aprons, gizmos and doodads are everywhere to purchase. Before your visit is over, Iris will know your name and remember it the next time you're in. Free wifi is available. Actually located on Molly Lane across from Big Woods.
