“Incredible B&B and Wonderful Inn Keepers”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

This is my second stay at this B&B and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! The inn keepers are amazingly hospitable. The breakfasts are incredible and the rooms are decorated beautifully. Nancy and Manuel go out of their way to make your stay memorable, enjoyable, peaceful, and relaxing. They are great hosts!!! The rooms are all unique and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail in every room (sleeping rooms and main areas) is beyond impressive. There are wonderful touches of elegance, comfort, whimsy and charm everywhere you look. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linens/bedding/towels are all high class luxury. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. To be honest, I had hoped for repeats of the breakfasts I had on my first stay and though neither was repeated, the two I had this time were just as delicious!!! This is just a wonderful place to stay, you will feel like family and be treated like royalty.

What an incredible place! There really are not enough good things to say about the 1875 Bed and Breakfast! From ambience to location to comfort to warmth and attention to every detail, this architectural and atmospheric treasure is a constant source of amazement. My husband surprised us last Christmas with a mother/daughter get-a-way weekend from IU, Bloomington. It's taken us a year to get here for a much needed break from a stressful school year - so we were here at Christmas this year! It was like stepping into a Christmas movie! :) Our hosts were the best - welcoming and helpful, totally concerned with making our stay the retreat we needed. The food and presentaton was world class, the rooms were better than the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, and the surrounding beauty is breathtaking. We are already planning for how to come back soon and bring our extended family.:) An incredible find!

Room Tip: Every room has its own personality and quaintness - we stayed in the Maple Leaf Room, with the Jacuz...

Nancy and Manual the Innkeepers are great. The B&B is decorated with tons of antiques and every room has a special touch to it. They had a bunch of DVD's to pick from, lots of games to play in the enclosed porch area. The fireplace was going and was very relaxing. When we got there, Nancy had cookies out, and told us to help ourselves to the kitchen. They had the frig stocked with water, soft drinks, wine, cheese. We stayed in the Maple Leaf Room with the canopy bed. The bed slept wonderfully and there was a beautifull fireplace and jacuzi tub in the room along with a full bath and shower. Everything was wonderfull. We will definitely be back. The breakfast was out of this world. Loved it.

This is the second time we have stayed at the inn. We have stayed in many B&Bs in the past this one is by far the best. The innkeepers, Manuel and Nancy are very gracious hosts. Cleanliness is top notch with fluffy towels and ironed sheets. Breakfast is wonderful and plentiful. There is always a fire in the fireplace, where you can talk to Manuel about the St.Louis Cardinals ( Manuel is a huge fan). There are always fresh baked cookies to munch on. We stayed in the Redbud room which has beautiful antique furniture. We hope to be returning again.

What a wonderfully relaxing weekend! The rooms are immaculate, with nice touches everywhere. The kitchen is stocked with great snacks and drinks, including wine, and is available 24 hours. The grounds are serene, with hammocks and a fire pit available. Live music in the dining area, consisting of a quartet singing gospel, bluegrass, and country every Saturday evening. Breakfast was fabulous! We've already booked for two nights next fall.

We booked this B & B based on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the Oak Room. The pictures on the website looked exactly like the room. The room was spacious, very clean, and it was obvious that attention to detail was given: some dove chocolates by the fireplace, rubber duckies by the tub, Paul Mitchell Hair Care products, fluffy towels, a variety of pillows all over the bed, a new pair of house slippers waiting, etc. The only thing I was missing was a hair dryer, but Nancy or Manuel would have likely had one to lend me if I had just asked. Breakfast each morning is served promptly at 9:00 on pretty dishes; the presentation was impressive and the food plentiful and tasty. The B & B has an open kitchen where you can help yourselves to soda, hot chocolate, water, etc. We also enjoyed the homemade cookies they left out and the candycorn. There are a few hundred DVDs to choose from and watch in your room. There is a room to play board games if you choose by the fire. Nancy and Manuel were kind and welcoming hosts, but not overbearing or intrusive of our time there. We enjoyed our time away, feeling relaxed and refreshed to return to "the real world.". We definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast which is just off the main road, just a couple miles from Nashville and very close to the State Park. A great find during our first trip to Nashville, IN!

My husband and I had never been to Nashville or to a Bed and Breakfast. We loved both! Manuel checked us in and was very friendly and made us comfortable right away. Our room was immaculate! Lush bedding and the softest towels you have ever experienced. Definitely felt pampered during our stay. Free beverages and snacks with a kitchen that was always open. My husband even took an afternoon nap, and he NEVER naps. Very peaceful and quiet. We were completely relaxed after our stay. Thanks so much, Nancy and Manuel!!!
