They do have live bands and the outdoor seating is really nice to sit and relax. I will say, however that I was not impressed that they charge $5 per person for tasting, while the others in town do not; especially because the wine is not really that good. We sampled 7 different varieties and not one stood out as a real winner. Their Pinot Grigio was not as crisp and light as it should be and the Chardonnay's all had a weird after taste. In our opinion, go visit the others in town for free samples and better wine. Also, the bathroom (yes, that is singular) is awful!! This is a bigger winery in Indiana; spend the money on a decent set of guy/girl bathrooms. I would recommend coming here for the outdoor seating and nightlife, since this is one of the few places in town that doesn't shut down at 6; but there is more to choose from around town that stays open late.

We went in for wine tasting on a night there happened to be a musical guest. The staff at the wine bar was very knowledgeable of the wine and never made us feel rushed in spite of how busy they were. The music was good and the crowd was lively. It was a good time.

Come enjoy Mesa Rain this coming Friday, March 14th. It is a great band and a friend's brother is the lead singer and another friend's fiancee is the lead guitar player.

Chateau Thomas Winery is the place to be on Saturday night in Little Nashville! We heard an excellent band called "Impasse" that did wide variety of covers as well as some original music. Friendly place, good wine. The only drawback is they stop playing at 10 p.m. I think on Saturday night they need to go 'til midnight!

After walking around downtown Nashville for a couple hours, it was time to relax with a wine tasting. For only $5, you get to taste 7 of their wines (ice/dessert wines are $2 per pour). Their wines were good, with a variety for every taste. Don't neglect the wine slushies! They were fantastic in the middle of winter, and I imagine they are even better in the dead of summer.

Having visited the Plainfield location in the fall, the Nashville winery has a smaller tasting bar (although they have many more tables and chairs to relax with a cheese plate and wine); I would imagine that the room and tasting area get crowded quickly during peak times.
