“A wonderful getaway in the woods!”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

My husband and I recently stayed at the Robinwood Cabin Studio and from the moment we stepped foot into the cabin we were in love! It has every amenity you could possibly need; we cooked all but 1 meal there as we didn't want to leave the peaceful solitude of the house. The hot tub is AMAZING and it's one of the only places in that area that allows pets. The living room has a working fireplace and the innkeepers keep a stock of firewood for you to use. You would think that a 'cabin in the woods' would be rustic, but this little gem is quite luxurious. The bedroom has a king sized bed with a temperpedic mattress topper; the decor and furnishings seem brand new...They provide linens/towels and some toiletries. The innkeepers were very friendly, as were their sweet dogs and miniature horses. The cabin is less than a 5 minute drive to Nashville if you want to go shopping or out to dinner.
It doesn't get any better than this!

Room Tip: We chose the Robinwood Cabin Studio, which sleeps 2 people. I'm sure a 3rd could stay there, bu...

We loved the Robinwood Inn! We stayed in Maybelle's Cabin. It was adorable--loved it as soon as we walked in. We had great fires in the huge fireplace, relaxed in the hot tub and watched the deer early in the morning. We also got to feed the miniature horses which was fun. Breakfast on the weekend was absolutely delicious. The innkeepers even very kindly took my dietary limitations into consideration when planning the menu. We felt really relaxed the whole time and had the privacy we were looking for. We would definitely like to come back!

This was our second time staying at Robinwood Inn, and once again, we love it. This time we stayed in the Treetop Loft, spending all of our time on the second level (since there were just two of us, we didn't need the bedroom downstairs). We love that Robinwood is pet friendly, and our puppy Nell enjoyed the trip as much as we did. Tyra and Lance's dog, Romeo, was wonderful with Nell (even though he outweighs her 5x) and she had a blast playing with him. She also got a kick out of meeting their two miniature horses. This was the first weekend we stayed at Robinwood and so we finally got to have their breakfast -- amazing! A couple of choices to meet anyone's tastes, and so very tasty. We will definitely be back for another stay, likely with Nell again. We haven't stayed at Maybelle's yet, so we might try that cottage next.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Maybelle's cabin at Robinwood Inn. We managed to take full advantage of the hot tub, despite the snow and ice all around! Afterwards, we warmed up in front of the big stone fireplace while listening to old records. It was the perfect escape and we definitely plan to return!

We stayed at the "TreeTop"... It has one queen downstairs with a flat screen tv and a pool table. If you go in the winter you may want to bring an extra space heater for the 1st floor bc it stays pretty chilly down there even with the heat on.
Upstairs is a king size and I believe a standard bed, a full bath, livingroom , kitchen and a covered hot tub right outside on the deck. It stays pretty warm upstairs, so no issues there.
Everything was clean and decorated nicely. They provide pretty much everything you need for the kitchen and cooking,so you wont need to bring much.
The inkeepers are very sweet and informative about places to visit while you are there. Breakfast is quite tasty. The only thing that would be nice was if the portions were a little bit bigger.
I will definitely come back again. I also wish they could do 1 night stays so I could visit more often. I cant always get away for the whole weekend and the 2 nights puts you at about $430 total. However, I have already recommended this place to several friends and family.

The open-concept living room and full kitchen helped us feel like we were in a second home! I appreciated the go-green and shop-local attitudes of the innkeepers. My husband and I enjoyed the peace and warmth of our stay.

Robinwood is such a blessing - we've come back 5+ times and could not ask for a better place to stay! Thank you Tyra & Lance for all you do!!! During a previous weekend stay, we had the absolutely wonderful breakfast. Absolutely loved the cozy fires, the bird party right outside the window, and the rustic accomodations (yet all of the modern conveniences). Made some great memories including a visit to the hot tub in the snow. An angel shoveled the porch and around our car before we left kicking and screaming back to our real lives. Can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: Close to town yet feels like you're away from everything. For Robinwood, everything except outd...
