“Our New Favorite Place”
Reviewed May 2, 2012

We stayed April 28-30 at Robinwood Inn - in the Treetop Loft. It is our new favorite place in Nashville! Tyra and Lance - the owners - are awesome and the Inn has a great feel about it. The weekend we stayed they were just launching their new breakfast service and it was incredible - everything homemade - from waffles to frittatas to biscuits and gravy - it was hard to believe it wasn't something they haven't been doing for years! The cabin we stayed in - The Treetop Loft - we shared with another couple - and it was incredibly comfortable. Nice beds, a hot tub and deck, comfortable couches... We will definitely, 100% for sure, make this the place we come back to year after year.

Room Tip: We got to see all of the Inn and the only consideration you need is how many people you have in your...

I picked Maybelle's cabin for our girls getaway for myself, my 2 sisters and my mom. We loved the cabin and all it offered us in choice of sleeping areas, the stocked kitchen, the hot tub and the fire pit. Being dog people we enjoyed Romeo (the resident dog) and his visits, he seemed to know when we were cooking! Even though the cabin is next to the Inn we felt like we had privacy but help was just a few steps away if we needed it. No one wanted to leave and we are already planning another trip, there's so much to see and do in the area. We loved the state park and spent one day there having a picnic and taking pictures. I hope we get back soon and want to thank Tyra and Lance for letting us enjoy their beautiful cabin.

My husband and I as well as our golden retriever Buddy just returned from a two-night stay. As the other reviewers have stated (and yes, we read these reviews prior to booking), this place is as good as it looks. The owners are as warm and generous as they could possibly be. It is clean, very well decorated, and perfect for a quiet getaway. We loved being able to grill our dinners so as not to have to leave our pup behind. The book selection would please almost anyone. The bed was very comfy, and the proximity to Brown County State Park could not have been better. SO much better than any room in a motel could have been!

Had a great time with our family at the Robinwood Inn. My husband and I and our 2 teenagers--and our golden retriever Sam all stayed in the Tree Top Loft. There was plenty of space--we especially loved the hot tub and the pool table! The owners are wonderful--very friendly and flexible. If you go to Nashville, make sure to check out The Muddy Boots Cafe--we ate there 3 times--the food is great and the servers made us feel like family :)

My wife and I visited the Robinwood Inn for our very first trip to Nashville this past weekend. My only regret is not being able to stay an entire week instead of only two nights. The owners were amazingly kind, friendly and had no issue with allowing us to check in early on Friday in order to make the most of the weekend. The resident friendly dogs, Romeo and Boo, greeted us warmly upon arrival. The entire grounds of the Robinwood are simply amazing - secluded woodsy-ness yet only 1 mile from the town, which makes plopping into the hot tub after a hard day of shopping amazingly easy.

The Treetop Loft is what I want our weekend home in the country to look like someday. A wonderful blend of modern amenities and classy art and antiques makes the Loft a place for true relaxation. Spending time with my love playing billiards downstairs, in my bare feet, while drinking a glass of wine was the perfect antidote to the stresses of the city and work life. We also had in-room massages on Saturday afternoon with the wonderful Paula, who was recommended to us by the owners. An in-room massage for only $90? Truly an exceptional value.

The Inn's owners provide everything one could need in a vacation home; full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, three bedrooms that sleep up to five comfortably, a game room with tons to keep you occupied, patio with 2-person soaking tub, bistro table and charcoal grill, and a truly amazing woodland setting. A lifelong Ohioan, I never even knew Nashville existed prior to last weekend and with the hospitality we received at the Robinwood coupled with the charm of the town itself, we can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Any of the accommodations are amazing; the Loft and Maybelle's Cabin can sleep up to six.

Our first trip out, we stayed for a long weekend right after the new year. We brought our groceries, and fixed all our meals in. We hiked in Hoosier National Forest, and loved the fireplace and hot tub at the cabin. For our next trip a month later, I looked all over for other places closer to Hoosier National Forest, and nothing compared to Robinwood! The second trip out, we were still able to make it to HNF, and visited the shops in Brown County and had lunch at Muddy Boots, then dinner at Big Woods. If you're looking for a low-key romantic place, you will not find a better place than Robinwood!

We visited Robinwood for a Valentines Getaway...and loved every second! It's so close to everything, but so quiet that you will think you're in the middle of nowhere. Treetop Loft was much bigger than we expected, and will definitely take friends next time we go back...and we will go back.
