I love the fact that Nashville got a brew pub. The building is lovely and the food is fine. The beer however is only marginal. Flat, not flavorless but less than inspiring. Especially for the price. I was leaving town one Sunday and stopped in to get a growler. Not only did I get an over priced medeorcre beer, they didn't even give a growler price but charged me full price for 4 pints. What microbrew pub does that? I've never heard of such.

Hubby stopped by for a beer...wanted a red, and if that's what he received it was more like a stout. He ordered a small nacho appetizer that he said was very very good with the pulled pork in it wonderful.

We got a pizza to go and it tasted very fresh with fresh mozzarella, and a nice crust.

We went here Saturday Night based on the TripAdvisor recommendations and we were not disappointed. It seemed like most people went here for beer and pretzels, but we aren't beer drinkers. The Ribs and Mashed Potatoes were excellent. Warning: The tables are very close together inside. You have a little more room if you eat out on the porch.

Big Woods Brewing Co., just off the main street in Nashville, IN is a great place to eat. We made a quick trip up last night and had a wonderful dinner. The Walleye over rice (with veggies) topped with a creamy dill sauce and fresh parmesian was AWESOME. Kudos to Chef Emily and her kitchen staff for a great flavor combination. Everyone had a wonderful time and the service was great as always!

Several brews on tap (Cat Tail Wheat, Six Foot Blonde, Possum Trot Pale, Busted Knuckle Red and TIM's BIG WOODS Stout) to compliment any meal or just enjoy. Don't miss out on a unique experience!
