We saw the play "Nunsense, Amen" Terrific acting, singing and humor. We laughed through the whole play. The young men all had excellent voices. the Barn was lovely and the seating very good.

We attended the show Nonsense last night at the Round Barn Theatre. It is the best shows we have seen in a long time. It is a must to attend. The actors 200% into this production. Thank you to all the actors for the entertainment you provided.

Plain and Fancy was playing and while the singing was good, the acting was just okay. They were doing a lot of acting instead of reacting. I think it was because it was only their third time performing. There's better theater's closer to where I live.

We came to spend the day at Amish Acres, see the musical "Plain and Fancy" and then have a lovely Thresher Dinner. The walking tour was very interesting but a bit much for my 85 year old father - lots of standing around. It was a bit cool outside, so gave up the house tour a bit early. We saw the films they show about the history of the Amish, which were very informative an interesting. The show was very fun - a lot of talented people - and was better than I expected, but for a play that has been running so long, I figured it must be good. We saw a 2:00 matinee then figured we would have dinner after, but it seemed like most people went in the opposite direction (eat first, then show) especially on a Sunday when they let the last in at 5:00. The show was over about 4:30. But there were still some people there and we never felt rushed. We had the roast beef and chicken, which was all so good. The waitresses came over before we left to have a nice conversation about where we were from, where we were staying, that they hoped we enjoyed our visit, etc. that was most appreciated. Would definitely return - both the show and the mouth-watering food are worth it!
