-We were part of a block of rooms reserved for the BPA World Series Baseball Tournament in Muncie, IN.

We had guaranteed room confirmations for our whole group and no one received what they were guaranteed. All rooms were advertised as having microwaves and refrigerators and none of them had them, thus several families losing $$$ on food they had brought. They kept saying we would get them but, no one ever did. When you would ask the front desk anything regarding this, they would 'smart off' to you with one employee even saying 'she didn't care, she was quitting anyway'.

There were several persons that didn't even get rooms they had guaranteed reservations for that week because when they went to check in, the staff said they didn't have any rooms.

Maids yelled at kids from our team and the other teams that were staying there. They were too busy sitting outside in our lawn chairs and smoking to be concerned with whether rooms were cleaned or not and yes, there were some of our group's rooms that were not cleaned at all during our 4 night stay. Unacceptable!!

We were there as a group and normally when we book group rates, we receive a group discount reducing our rates by $20-$30 per night. This hotel increased our rates by that much based on their advertised normal rates. Again, unacceptable!!!

On the last night of our stay, one of the teams that were staying there had won the World Series for their age group and yes, they were very happy boys. The other teams were happy for them and yes, everyone was excited and loud so, what did the hotel staff do? They called the police!! They never asked anyone to keep the noise down or anything, they just called the police. The nine-year old team that had won had their boys crying and afraid instead of happy and celebrating.

I personally am responsible for booking rooms for basketball and baseball for a lot of out of town travel. It will be a very long time before I stay at any Marriott Hotels, let alone a Fairfield Inn.

There was not one apology offered by any of the hotel staff. What a shame for the Marriott chain.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. We had an enjoyable visit. The pool was wonderful and the rooms were clean. I little better pillows would be nice. The breakfast was nice, a little more seating would be great. But all in all...the best we have stayed in a long time. The front desk was also helpful with directions.

Staying here since Nov. 2006 until April 2007 with my husband. Enough experience to say this hotel is great and improvements are constant. Everything is VERY clean. Staff is very friendly, helpful and really make you feel welcomed. Free High-Speed internet is excellent. Breakfast area is kept spotlessly clean with enough variety of food for breakfast. Room is spacious, very quite with comfortable bed. Stayed in another hotel in Muncie which is in a same category but this is a far better.
Thought it will be hard to stay in a hotel for several months but they prove me wrong.

This was a pretty typical Fairfield Inn. Good value for the money. Very spacious rooms, really good breakfast. Not only cereal and donuts, but waffles you coould make and JImmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that could be heated in the microwave. Very friendly staff. The only probelm is that there is a road on both sides of the hotel so there is some traffice noise. Also it is near a few restaurants, but you need to travel a bit to get to more. While the comforter and mattress were good, sheets were very thin and scratchy towels. Room has wall unit for heating and a/c that is difficult to regulate. But all in all, it was a good value.
