PPR started out as a nightmare. We arrived about 9:30PM only to learn that this was after hours and the office was closed. We could see an envelope with our name on it in a lockbox but did not have the code. We made several attempts to call the number for assistance only to be hung up on several times. The mgr finally showed up bc we had tripped the alarm, or maybe she got tired of us calling. She proceeded to scold us on proper check-in etiquette. We had enough of her rudeness and explained that we were customers who had pre-paid and wanted to get into our cottage.

Things got better after that, but I would not call the management friendly or cordial, though they were efficient.

The cottage was clean and very well equipped (dishware, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, towels, etc.) , though no oven. The furniture was quite dated and a little grimy so we covered the couch with a sheet. Other than that the rooms were clean.

The location was fabulous. Walking distance to several gorgeous beaches. Close to natural areas. Locals were very friendly and did not hesitate to suggest a good restaurant or fun activity. We did not do any of the activities organized by the resort because we found so much to do on our own.

Very quiet and private resort. Staff were helpful and friendly. Management still a question mark? would not give us a laundry key at 2.30pm stating we would not return key before office closed ............strange. Spoke to resort timeshare owner who confirmed management's very poor interpersonal skills, but did not have any real problems ourselves. We would stay again but still a bit uncertain of management's service record.

Don't bother going. Pick another place.
Place is old with wear and tear which is not a big deal as long as you're prepared.
However, we were unprepared for the unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional demeanor of the person at the office who could not seem to help herself from being unpleasant every time any of us had anything to do with her. Spent the time trying to avoid her.
FYI - Nickle and dimed. No laundry in unit but they charge $15/wk or $3.50 per load. All other timeshares we've been to have laundry in unit. They could have provided free access to laundry considering it was below par to not have the convenience of laundry in each unit. Snooker table and air hockey all cost money in rec room. Recreation room lights turn off at 9pm which is too early. No oven.

We used our three timeshares to exchange for 3 units here for holiday with friends and do not feel we got equal value. In over 10 yrs of exchanging, with over 50 timshare stays, this has been the worst service.

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

The location and rates of this place are fine. It's clean and basic...nothing to write home about, but no dramas.
Unfortunately the staff go out of their way to make you unwelcome. Quite amazingly they make it clear their life would be better if you were not there at all. I think this resort is mostly individually owned units that get rented out to holiday makers. The live-in manager therefore sees each rental guest as an unwelcome addition to their workload and goes out of their way to let you know they would be much happier if you were not there at all.
It's a shame because it dampened an otherwise happy visit to the area.
If this resort was somehow special, you might put up with this, but it's not...so we will be obliging and not coming back.

We stayed at Pacific Palms Resort for a week during June. The location is great, walking distance to beautiful Elizabeth Beach.
The Villa had two bedrooms, a double in one and two singles in the other. The kitchen was very good with all you could need.
Lounge room had a two-seater sofa-bed and two upholstered chairs and large coffee table.
The furniture and decor was quite nice with a dining table and 6 chairs.
Reverse-cycle air conditioner and flat-screen TV with DVD player.
The bathroom was fairly small with a shower (no bath), but was spotlessly clean but really needs an up-date.
We had a balcony with outdoor chairs and table and enjoyed sitting there in the afternoon sunshine with a drink listening to the birds. (The resort is right next to a National Park).
The swimming pool is heated and has an adjoining spa.
One small problem was parking a large car. The villas all have their own designated parking space and due to the layout and sloping site, this can be difficult depending on where your villa is sited.
The resident managers and their staff were very helpful and friendly.

We have traveled internationally for many years, but have never come across such wonderful peolple, as this staff, who manage this resort. Nick and Susan not only take pride in taking care of their beautiful resort, they take the time to make sure you are taken care of. The resort has Beautiful grounds and surronding areas, with beautiful Elizabeth Beach with in just a few minutes walking distance on one side and a beautiful lake on the other, all located within a National Park. The accomadations are very nice and spacious with wonderful views. We highly reccomend this resort to anyone who stays in NSW, Australia.

A great spot with adequate 2 bed villas. Can walk to beach and lake. The current management is not user friendly and makes it difficult to use the facilities on offer. Guests are really a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise a good resort for families and friends.
