Quiet, peaceful, comfortable environment ...here for one week...
This is my second stay at the resort..highly recommended...great for family...beach nearby...
Make sure to visit Mt Wellington...awesome this time of the year...lots of snow...check Hobart city council for updates as the road is often closed due to heavy snowfall...

Room Tip: Go for 3 bedroom apartment..bigger and more modern

My wife and I have stayed there a number of times over the last 10 years, and in total, we love it.
The individual units are very well maintained, and our favourites, 1 or more bedrooms deluxe, tick all the boxes.
The resort is just a stone's throw (or short hire car drive) from Hobart airport, and a nice drive from Hobart itself. When you arrive by air and hire a car, turn left on the Highway to Sorrell, to buy your food requirements from a new Coles, and in due course after much driving, petrol from a new Shell alongside.

7MB has its own VG restaurant but we like (mainly) to be independent, and the apartment facilities are excellent. And it's just SO handy to drives down the Tasman Pen, to Pt Arthur etc, or up the east coast to Freycinet, Bicheno and more. Or just walk across the quiet access rd, to totally unspoiled 7MB itsel! A shell - collectors paradise at the right time of the year.

Any downside? Well internet access is out of fashion too expensive, but I am sure that comments like this might help to change that :-) But meanwhile, the pool, sport and rec. facilities and general ambience are all VERY positive!

Room Tip: Go for a Presidential Suite, during off season :-)

We spent three nights at this resort, time away from the children for a weekend.
The townhouse had two bedrooms with all facilities required for our trip away very cosy and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and supplied us with maps to the local supermarket, so we could get supplies.
Great Service.

Room Tip: Request single storey unit if you don't like using stairs, as most of the units are double store...

The resort is in a great location - close enough to Hobart for dinner and sightseeing but away from any city noise or interference. The beach is just across the road and must be great in summer. The accommodation is very impressive with 2 wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, laundry and 2 bathrooms downstairs and then the well appointed living areas upstairs including another toilet. The kitchen caters for most needs. The resort has a pool, spa, children's playground and a restaurant. The only drawback was having to access the internet at the front desk area. The grounds are lovely with plenty of native flora and fauna.

Room Tip: We were up the back but all looked reasonably private and peaceful.

We went to Hobart to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We are owners in the Wyndham group so we were looking forward to staying as we've always had such great experiences in previous locations. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas that are tucked away up the back of the property. Number 48. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, fireplace, and spa bath. The accommodation is fantastic and well supplied of the usual equipment needed. Full kitchen, dining table and comfy lounges. Everything you need. Good facilities for families (although we didn't bring our son this time). My husband and I used the games room a couple of times for a hit of Table Tennis and Pool. Only 5-7 minutes from the airport and about 20 mins to Hobart. We found the drive in and out of Hobart really nice and relaxing. We only used the restaurant once and found it reasonable. Good food but nothing extraordinary. We went to The Mill on Morrison in Hobart for an amazing dinner with friends. Tapas style, but very generous portions and good value for money. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

Room Tip: Villas up the back are more secluded and private.

Resort very quiet and relaxing as it is located about 20 minutes out of Hobart, but only about 5 minutes drive from airport.
Staff friendly and accommodating. Cabins were small but nice, and not lacking anything. No ensuite to master in the 2 bedroom cabin we stayed in.
Pool very nice and spa also excellent and appropriately heated.
Bikes were available to rent so we rode around the local area, which really has only one little convenience store, but the beach being right across the road from the resort was great, both for relaxing and walking. There was also a tennis court on site.
There is an on site restaurant though we did not eat there. If you are after a place to have some time out and relax, I would highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: As there are a mix of cabins, just check in with resort in regards to your needs as some are double...

We were lucky enough to have cabin number 30 which was tucked away at the back. It was extremely peaceful and the place was beautiful. Two bedrooms, three toilets (2 bathrooms) and a gorgeous kitchen and lounge was exactly what we needed.
A lovely little deck was great for an afternoon wine.
The restaurant was fantastic too.

Room Tip: Number 30 was awesome!
