Amazing place and view. We had our own beach, and it was luxus for us :)
Even than the place was modest there was everything that you need. We totally loved the place.

Of course you need to notice that services are 1,5 km away from hotel. So you need to prepare walk little bit.

I just got back from Villa Marina yesterday and the location is amazing. It is right on the edge of the bay with a stone terrace with steps into the water to swim. The location is quiet but lovely with mainly pretty stone cottages along that side of the bay. The owner Vladimir is lovely and very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The room has everything you need and is a good size although is a little basic but the location makes up for it. The sea is just outside the window! There is one café/bar but you will need a car/taxi to get to places. If you want to be in the centre of Tivat with the restaurants and bars this is not for you! It is however only a 20/30 minute drive. Would recommend the kayaking in the bay. Kayak available at the apartment for £15 for half day. Beautiful scenery. The apartment has a driver, Mladen who drove me to some other villages/towns and waited for me/picked me up later. He is very helpful, reliable, courteous and friendly and reasonably priced :) I would highly recommend him if you want to visit anywhere and don't have a car! Kotor and Perast are beautiful and well worth a visit!

Room tip: 2 bed apartment with sea view was great with own side terrace with side sea view too!

The location of Villa Marina sells itself. Absolutely stunning views and the ladder down to the sea on its own private harbour made it the best of both worlds between a beach and a pool.
Yes, ok, it is a bit basic but I'll take personality, scenery and charm over a laundry service any day.
Loved it.
Wifi is excellent by the way.

Room tip: The first floor apartment is, I imagine, more private

Stayed here recently with some friends. Promised amazing accomodation. it was not very clean, had very basic amenities. Asking for any extra towels or glasses seemed like a bother to the lady looking after the place. No mosquito protection for the night time and the lady did not help or advise us on where anything is. The views are stunning and being able to swim in the beautiful water was a saviour! Stray cats and mosquitos were not fun. Stay here is you have a car and drive around the island and to the shops, but not if you are a backpacker as the main villages are all about 15 to 25 euro away by taxi which can become expensive!

We stayed at Villa Marina for 4 night last august. The owner is very friendly and always available to help.

Our room was on the ground floor, it was very clean, well furnished. The Villa has its private beach. It's nice to relax there after a day out. The view is amazing. Definitely worth it aa the house is located after the Tivat Salina which has become a Ramsar nature reserve so construction are banned overthere which is good!

You will need a car if you would like to travel around (Kotor is around 15 minutes drive from Villa Marina, Budva around 30 minutes drive)

If you come by car Villa Marina is located few steps from Villa Kristina so just follow the directions for Villa Kristina and you will get there!
