The two bedroom house we stayed at is actually not part of Villa Marina as advertised by Booking.com but squashed in between three other houses further down the seafront one of which has an attached engineering facility with screeching and banging till very late evening.
The property itself is dirty with an absolutely filthy kitchen and rear rubbish dump which supposedly was the back patio area.
We couldn't find the kitchen at first until we realised that we had to navigate through the rubbish strewn 'patio area' to a 4 foot square box which we presumed was a shed but turned out to be a converted latrine/kitchen.
Microwave rusting, bare wires protruding from walls, food stains and grime splashed around the kitchen, dirty fridge along with power cuts and hardly any internet access makes even mid terraces in former industrial areas in deepest Lancashire seem attractive.
In addition the property next door was having rebuilding work done with accompanying cement mixer, noise and dust all day at the front of the hovel/property.
When we saw the owner he decided he couldn't remember English anymore switched to Russian and disappeared for the rest of the week with not even a change of towels for the duration.
Yep it is Montenegro and things are basic, but to pay knocking 400 out of season for a filthy hole that the owners have not even attempted to clean or maintain is just a joke.More
