My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The room was a true value, the atmosphere remarkable, and the list of things to see endless. The pioneer village and the volunteers doing the interpretations were top-notch, and I should know I use to work weekends at Pleasant Hill at Shakertown in Kentucky.
We were still too stuffed from the Saturday night buffet to eat the breakfast, but I cannot imagine anyone having a single complaint about the food. Food was great and the staff extrememely courteous.
And for the main reason I'm taking the time to write this review, someone even dropped off my Red Box DVD that I forgot and left in the room! Thanks to whomever was responsible for that!
Great place for a family/class reunion, weekend getaway, short vacation, family picnic, church event, school trip, etc., etc., etc. If you don't like Spring Mill State Park, the problem lies in you.More
