Fine selection of beers, including local brews, but food takes second place here. Entree's are seriously over-salted, and the barbecue sauce on the pork chops is far too sweet. This latter fact was brought to the attention of the waiter, and it was only minutes before a very concerned chef came to the table to make amends and promise better results the next time. The decor features an unbroken chain of TV screens, each tuned to a different channel - sports, news, etc. - but blessedly without sound. If you enjoy eating meals at home in front of the TV, you'll feel quite comfortable here.

I enjoyed this restaurant and brewery on a daily basis for a little over 2 weeks. The staff far exceeded expectations....friendliness and warmth. I didn't want to go anywhere else. An extensive selection of food and in-house brewed beer !! Thank you Carlos !!

They brew their own. I tried the sampler and enjoyed them all.
Menu is extremely varied, so there's something for everyone. There's even a menu for foods made with their brew.

Thank thompstone

We have been to Granite city several times. The food has been very good every time including the Sunday brunch. The menu and the beer sampling is excellent and at a good price. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive. Granity city it one of our two favorite resturants in the area.

We've visited Granite City twice for the Sunday Brunch. The first time was in August 2011. The manager asked us about the food. I told her that the food was cold; perhaps because the lids were left open. We decided to give them another chance yesterday (7/22/12). Same thing. The food was barely warm. I even dug deep to pull out a sausage link that was buried thinking that it would be kept warm from the others surrounding it. My husband said a full serving tray of potatoes were brought out and THOSE were even barely warm. The waitress didn't even ask how the meal was (I think she was afraid to). It is not worth the $15 per person. I'm concerned that there is a health risk there.
