If you have to go to South Bend, Indiana, go to this hotel. I caught it on Priceline for about 60 bones a night and it was well worth it. Check in was a snap, and the hotel is either new or has been recently remodeled with very contemporary and tasteful styling.

The rooms are excellent. Each room comes with a nice sofa sitting area and a 42" plasma TV that swivels for viewing on either the bed or sofa sitting area. The bathrooms are updated as well with a nice shower head and glass partition in the bathroom.

Workout room and pool were OK, but a 60 a night it's hard to complain about the peripheries.

This is one of the top hotels I have stayed in my 40+ years of international and national travelling. The service is excellent, the facilitiy is excellent, the rooms are excellent, everything here is as it should be in a hotel - regardless of the price. This is the hotel and the service you will compare others to as you travel. Kudos to Jarrett and Jessica for outstanding service during a brief illness. They prepared meals for me, checked on me, and made me feel safe, secure, and cared for. What a place......the hotel that dreams are made of. HIE, Hamptons, Marriotts, better watch out....if other Hyatt Place hotels are equal to this one, you might find yourself out of business. 5+ stars!

Room Tip: Just ask and your needs will be met.....

I've been to many many MANY hotels (including other Hyatt hotels) and I can honestly say that this was my favorite one. It is not as fancy as many hotels, but you get much more than what you pay for. The rooms were very clean and HUGE. Queen beds were comfortable, and so was the enormous sofa sleeper (could almost fit two adults). Parking and Internet were free, which is a rare thing nowadays. Breakfast was also pretty good! Everything looked new or recently renovated. It was also great to walk down the hallways without smelling the "hotel smell". The only downside is that this hotel does not have adjoining rooms. I would definitely come back next time!

Staff was super friendly, room was clean, continental breakfast perfect for our needs. Tons of restaurants nearby; hotel was quiet at night. Zero complaints!

Room was great - it stormed and didn't even hear it. Very modern look and love the couch to relax. Location had many chain restaurants very close. Pool looked nice even though I didn't use it due to getting in late. Breakfast was nice - nothing special. A bit of a distance off the turnpike, but room is worth it.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 5 year anniversary in Mishawaka. So, we looked around and decided that we would stay one night at the Hyatt Place. We were very impressed with quality of service and our room. All the employees were knowledgeable and very friendly. Made us feel welcome. The room was fantastic. There was a microwave and a mini fridge. The 42' flat screen tv swiveled, so you could watch tv whilst sitting on the couch, or relaxing in bed. Bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped, but I still got a good nights sleep. We had no complaints, and we will be returning in the future.

We've come to enjoy the Hyatt Places we have stayed at. This is a great one, good location, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast bar was great and well stocked. The hotel was overrun with pre-teens and their families for some sort of competition but once in our room we didn't hear anything. We'd recommend.
