The cheese factory was a fun little side trip while visiting the Shipshewana area.
There were many cheeses to sample and all were excellent. Not too expensive, and not something you find in regular stores. Visitors get to see the cheese being made and follow the step by step process of how they make it.
My favorite cheeses were the yogurt cheese and the salsa cheese. Other's worth mentioning are the swiss & rye and vegetable cheeses.
Also don't forget to try the peanutbutter spread, and other amish treats. YUM!
