Stayed here for one night with the family when visiting Shepshewana. The hotel ground was huge with very nice landscape (big ponds, flowers quilt, green, etc). The hotel is charming. The setting is very unique with different themes for every room/space within the hotel area. Very interesting. It's a big hotel.
Our room wasn't big but lovely. We had 2 double beds with very comfy beddings. The bathroom was small-ish but nice too. I love the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries provided. The decors and furnishings in the room and within the hotel were into fully and more old fashion country style. I guess it suits the Amish setting. It was really nice but not for everyone's taste for longer stay. Staffs was ok, friendly enough.
Breakfast wasn't great and lack in choices. But the restaurant in the hotel ground was great. It serves Amish and other foods. The Amish foods are very delicious with great choices too and great prices.
I'd recommend this hotel to everyone as the hotel has a character to it. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay. But I'd also try another hotel if I ever come back - as a couple other also look nice.More
