We enjoyed our stay with Claudia who is very service minded. Breakfasts are excellent and made fresh to your liking. Our son especially enjoyed the chicken house and the goats. The land and area is very interesting. Claudia is very helpful with suggestions for local activities. The house itself is an old refurbished 19th century farm house with interesting nooks and crannies. We recommend this B and B and will look to stay there again in the future. Thanks Claudia!

We had an amazing time at Claudia's beautiful and charming farmhouse. Some homes have so much love and attention pored into them that they instantly envelope you in a feeling of warmth and family - this is one of them. Claudia has a great eye for beauty and every corner of this home is thoughtfully curated and explodes with charm. There were so many magical little spaces - the gorgeous outdoor shower (don't miss this on a sunny day, there is nothing like it); the attic with its beautiful wooden beam roof and niches to explore (don't miss this on a rainy day; there is nothing like the sound of rain again that roof while reading in the attic); the wonderfully appointed rooms with crisp, white sheets and great beds (we loved the Alcove Spa room); the outdoor spaces (hammock under the trees anyone?); and finally, I can't gush enough about the wonderful farm kitchen and outstanding home-cooked breakfast Claudia made for us. In short, I can't recommend Tyron Farm Guest House enough - Claudia is a pitch-perfect host - easy-going, kind, and welcoming. We can't wait to come back!

We appreciated Claudia's hospitality and the very comfortable room! The bed was fantastic and we loved having the private bath in the Alcove Spa. Breakfast was delicious and the outdoor shower was a lot of fun.

Class reunion weekend and we treated ourselves to this lovely B&B. The bed was so comfortable, wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed just looking at all the things in the common rooms of the house. We wandered around the grounds with our first cup of coffee while our breakfast was cooking. Claudia is a most accommodating host and fun to chat with. We will return if we get the chance.

We visited last Saturday at the spur of the moment. We didn't have reservations until that morning, when I called Claudia at noon. She said all but one room was booked, so I immediately booked it. I had read a few reviews and scoped out their website the night before. Nowhere else in the area was offering homemade cookies and farm-fresh eggs, so it was a no-brainer. We got the only room upstairs without its' own bathroom (our room's private bath was located downstairs.) But that didn't really bother me as there was a shared bathroom upstairs (sans bath or shower) which I don't think anyone else used anyway. We used that rather than going all the way downstairs. Although I will definitely say this B&B is super relaxing and peaceful, be aware you are surrounded by nature, which many city-folk are not used to. That means the sound of frogs (like whoa!) from the nearby pond at night. In the morning you are woken up by the rooster crowing at 430am and birdsongs galore. If that doesn't sound appealing to you: shut the windows and turn the A/C on before you go to bed. We did not and that was my one main complaint. I basically could not sleep because of all the nature noises. Which still was highly preferable to the city sirens which I am used to. We did not get a chance to use the super cute outdoor tub so that will be our excuse for returning sometime soon! Claudia never really smiles which was a bit odd. But I think maybe she's afraid if she is too friendly someone may decide they don't want to leave haha.

Room Tip: A private bathroom would be nice but it's not a deal breaker. We stayed in the one without and d...

Some friends and I rented out the whole guest House so that was great having the house to ourselves. This place is nice and quaint. Claudia made us feel so welcomed and made the best breakfast for us. Some of the items I will replicate at home. The only complaint was I stayed in Room #1 which doesn't have an attached bathroom, my bathroom was downstairs. Other than that I had a wonderful experience

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days during Spring Break'14, taking the train to Chicago daily. We found the place accidentally searching for b&b's and we are so glad we did:) Tranquility on steroids. This place is so quiet, so relaxing. Claudia, the innkeeper, made us feel right at home, she is an excellent hostess and really puts her heart into her guests and food preparation. The atmosphere of the home is very cozy and warm, old fashioned decor, with modern conveniences, and private baths. We are planing to come back soon.
