“The hamburgers are very good.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2014

We came here with friends, We would never have come here if not for them suggesting we go there for burgers. The portions are huge and the onion rings are fabulous. We even went there again on our own. The hamburgers are hand patted and quite tasty. If you are looking for a good burger, come here.

“Great hamburgers, great atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

This diner offers more than a great fried burger made to order. It offers a step back to the good old days with the posters and decor! The French fries taste fresh and not greasy. The patty melt was served on grilled sour dough bread with just the right amount of dressing and kraut. Onion rings were large sweet onions and the breading tasty and light.

“YUMMO!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

After driving hours and waiting for a nice place to stop and get some lunch we settled on a burger restaurant (connected to a hotel). We were seated and given menus. After 18 minutes and not one person coming back to bring us water or anything, we left. Fortunately for us we were still hankering for a hamburger. Not familiar with this area (we're from Michigan) we drove a little bit down the road and saw SHOOP's Hamburgers. We were so hungry and this was the first place we saw after leaving the other. SO GLAD WE STOPPED HERE as this was the BEST BURGER we have had in ages. The malts were spectacular... We knew we would't be able to finish them so we ordered them in "to go" cups. Our server was so wonderful, nice, did her job and made excellent recommendations for us. We now have SHOOPS on our radar and will be stopping there when we travel I-94 in southwest Michigan/northwest Indiana!! The 1950's decor added to the fun atmosphere and the fresh-made grilled burger patties were divine!
