“Clean & Quaint with a Touch of Construction Next Door”

My husband, infant daughter, and I just spent 3 nights at Mint Julep. The owner was very friendly and attentive as was the care taker. However, they failed to mention that there are 2 new construction homes coming up right next door which meant that we were woken up to pounding & hammering each morning (including Saturday) on our "relaxing" 3 day getaway.

The unit was very clean and updated, perfect for 2 adults and 1 small child max. There is no outside sitting area or deck off of the main level. There's a small terrace on the top floor but awkwardly situated, so not the most ideal location to sit and enjoy a BBQ. The wifi is spotty so be prepared to not use it. This unit is closer to the train tracks which are in the distance but the sound of the train isn't annoying. While there were two chairs and a dining table, there wasn't any separate area to sit in, just the main level and the upstairs bedrooms which on a rainy day can give you cabin fever pretty quickly, read small.

Overall it was a nice rental & about a 10 min walk to the beach however, we could have done without the construction and maybe added some outdoor seating.
