Although remodeling was going on, this was a nice place to stay. It's out from the city and very quiet and cozy. Although small, the rooms are clean and don't smell. Great TV, fridge and microwave in the room. No hair shampoos or conditioners which was fine with me. Our room had only one queen size bed. I thought there would be two beds but it was ok for my daughter and I to sleep in the same bed. After shopping all day at the outlet mall, we headed for the hotel. We were so comfortable that we didn't even go out to dinner. Just picked up pizza and headed back to the hotel and ate and watched tv.

This is a nice, family-owned motel in a very quiet location 3 miles south of the highway. They are currently in the process of remodeling the rooms, so be aware that there may temporarily be some construction noise. My room had clearly been remodeled, and was quite nice. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the quiet location made for a good nights sleep. This motel is dog friendly with a very large grassy area to run and play with the dog. However, dogs are not allowed in all the rooms (the owner says this is a Health Department rule) so call ahead to make sure they have a pet room available.

Great value, nice and a neat place where dogs are allowed. Everything was updated and clean, staff were very kind. I'd much rather stay a little ways out of town here than any of the nearby hotels that allow dogs. The only knock on our stay was our room kind of smelled of smoke, but that was because the windows had been open before we arrived and some guests were smoking right in front of the windows to our room, which the owners and staff can't really do anything about inconsiderate guests.

Room Tip: Let them know you have a dog coming with you, there is an extra fee.

Cute little motor court style motel. As I stay the owners are sprucing it up. There is a huge field and some woods where a dog can run. If you are tired of marching your dog around concrete parking lots near conventional hotels, this is a great break in that routine. Rooms are not large, but they are clean and comfortable. Microwave, small fridge, fine towels and bedding, lots more channels on the TV than I could watch. I received complimentary bottled water in my room.

Stayed here 1 night enroute to Chicago. It is a small local motel off the highway, newly remodeled, super clean, comfy, and quiet. Owner definately makes you feel welcome. Would definately recommend to anyone traveling in the area looking forward to a good night's sleep

This hotel is a good, basic stay, no frills inn. The room was absolutely spotless. It has been remodeled and all fixtures in the bathroom were brand new. Nice tv. Microwave in room. Bottled water in frig.

The water does smell funny but it smells like sulfur water. It was clear and I used the bottled water to brush my teeth. They do not provide shampoo so bring your own. There is no hair dryer in the room but they have one you can use. (I forgot mine). There is no iron in the room either. The shower soap dispenser did not work so I had to use the sink soap.

The outside of the inn has obviously been remodeled and is attractive. The room was quiet and comfortable and I have to reiterate, it was spotless!

The annoyance of the soap, shampoo, and hair dryer would not keep us from staying here again. The price is great and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom is important. The sulfur smell of the water is something you should consider. We though, will stay here again.
