The Options Buffet is one of the many restaurants within the Blue Chip Hotel and Casino. It is an attractive, brightly lit restaurant with an attentive and friendly staff. Casino food is pretty much the same everywhere - and it's usually pretty good - not great but not bad either. Options Buffet is no exception. We chose a Wednesday, as that is the day that they have a BOGO all day, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Two dining at a Buffet for the price of one, $19.99, well you usually can't go wrong. The dinner menu was much as I remembered from a year ago, with "stations" for Asian, Italian, Mexican and American and more. There's also a large area for salads and desserts. There is no way you can leave here hungry! But, as I said last year, I'd go back with a BOGO, not so sure otherwise.

If you're in the Blue Chip and get hungry after some intense gambling this buffet might fit the bill. They feature some specials for overnight (midnight Saturday to 2am Sunday for $9.99) breakfast (Friday $7.77, $10.99 other days), lunch $13.99 daily and dinner ranges from $19.99 to $24.99. Kinda pricey for dinner. My wife and I went on a Friday for dinner and although expensive at $23.99 (Great Lakes Fish Fry day) the food was all well prepared and the buffet had a nice selection. We sampled fresh shrimp, very good chili, lots of veggies, Asian cuisine, prime rib, fresh turkey, so-so pizza, meatballs, various pasta dishes and quite a bit more. The dessert section was the real highlight of our visit, tons of tasty cheescake, pies, ice creams, cookies and MORE! The chocolate fondue fountain was a nice touch. The buffet was clean but there's no restroom, you have to walk outside for that. Overall slightly above average on a Vegas Buffet scale. Not worth going out of your way for but pretty good if your choices are limited.

Had dinner at the Options Buffet, located in the Blue Chip Hotel and Casino, on a Wednesday evening. After 3:00, dinner is $19.99 per person, but on Wednesday it's a BOGO, so two can dine for $19.99 - and that makes it worth doing. The food is the usual Casino fare with lots of variety and you certainly won't go away hungry. Don't know if I'd pay $19.99 for it, but would go back if they still have the BOGO promotion.
