“Great place for IWU visitors”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

This bed and breakfast is directly accross from the IWU campus. We were impressed with how clean everything was and how warm and welcoming the place felt. The innkeeper and his wife were both very kind and accomodating. We would most definately recommed this place and we are already planning on staying again in August!

This quaint, relaxing bed and breakfast is directly across the street from IWU and is a wonderful place to stay while visiting IWU or even Taylor University. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have a "Pottery Barn" decor flavor. Randy-the inn keeper, is a warm and welcoming man who goes out of his way to insure your comfort and will "custom" your breakfast if food allergies are a concern. The entire inn is well maintained, with the goal of making your visit there warm and welcoming. The sign over the door to the main living room says it best "Enter as strangers, leave as friends". Would stay there again and will recommend to friends.

Room Tip: Would recommend rooms on second floor if you are seeking more privacy. The two rooms on the main flo...

Highly recommend! The rooms are extremely clean and decorated with an excellent attention to detail. Our room was very comfortable. Randy (the inn keeper) was highly attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was delicious. The whole atmosphere of this B&B was relaxing. It is right across the street from IWU, making it a perfect spot to stay when visiting the campus. Really enjoyed our stay

This bed and breakfast inn is as close to Indiana Wesleyan University as one can get without actually being on campus. While I was there, the inkeeper position was vacant and they were conducting interviews for it. However, the owners, who do not live on the premesis, took good care of me. There are five rooms, two on the first floor and three on the second, all with thier own bathrooms. The largest room, on the first floor, has a king bed. The rest have double beds. The rooms are interestingly decorated with pictures and knick-nacks. I enjoyed the large, wrap-around sunporch. There is a TV in every room and one in the first floor lounge. There are no phones in the rooms, but the inn is in town with cell phone and wireless internet service. My niece, who has a disability, visited me while there and commented that the inn is not particularly disability friendly due to stairs, steps, uneven floors, and no elevator. However, the owner sated that they have had persons in wheelchairs successfully stay in the first floor rooms. Beds are comfortable, the place was clean, and breakfast was enjoyable.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 5, the smallest room, on the second floor, which is best for a single person. Room...

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast. This was a very clean and homey place. Nicely decorated. Cookies and drinks available. Breakfast was wonderful. This is directly across from Indaina Wesleyan University. Peter (inn keeper) extremely nice and we enjoyed our conversation with him. The rooms were nice and beds comfy. We really enjoyed the enclosed porch, this was nice for our daughter and roommate to come over and play some games instead of staying at the college. Looking forward to our next visit.

I really did enjoy this place. It was quite and very homey. Peter is a great host. Was up bright and early to serve Breakfast and attend to our needs before he headed to class. The place is very modern in a 1905 refurbished house. Breakfast not only appeased our pallets but our eyes also, We are in this area 3-4 times a year and I do believe we will be staying here again. Hope to see you there :~)

Room Tip: The lower rooms are handicap accessible. Room number 1 is the biggest and nicest. The ones upstairs...
