“Historically Unique”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2013

As a retired Indiana teacher of American history, I was thrilled to experience the many blocks of historical buildings. My appreciation to Madison for preserving so much history for new and old history buffs.

“nice place to walk around”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

This is a small town that is still a small town, the residents of Madison shop and eat here. There are a couple of coffee shops and diners filled with local residents. Nice place to walk around, a nice riverwalk, just don't go when it is 95 degrees, like we did.

“Visit to the Madison, Indiana Riverfront”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

LOTS of free parking. I took grandchildren to see the Queen of the Mississippi riverboat on the Madison, IN wharf. It was amazing to see up close. The next day we went with a picnic lunch - many handy trash containers - and were lucky enough to also see the American Queen riverboat docked for a tour group to visit the "Old Town" area of Madison. Nice landscaping, friendly citizens and well-maintained public facilities "rest station"; a rest room area.
