We walked two of the trails and had a great time...unfortunately it had been dry so the falls weren't much to speak of. A very well done state park...though maybe a little lame for an adventurer who likes to follow the path untaken.

Went to clifty falls the weekend before memorial day, although not a huge park there are I believe 14miles of hiking trails there, some very easy , some rather difficult . If you get off the trails be careful, it's called clifty falls for a reason, lol. The trails were clearly marked, clean except for some storm damage that hadnt been cleaned up yet and may not be, hey its nature (@^&%!!) happens. Clean picnic areas, well grommed, clean restrooms, beautiful views esp. from the top of the falls but be very very careful and do not take children up there, one minute your looking at the creek, the next off a high cliff,.All in all a very nice place to just get away and hike for a day. The only downfall was the view from the overlook , although a nice view of the river, as is from the fire tower, there is a very large factory across the river that wasnt very appealing but, still beautiful view of the ohio river

We took our children and dogs to camp for the weekend and had a nice time. Great campground and they kept the grounds very clean. Pool was closed when we visited during our visit. The trails are nice.

We have camped here numerous times. Love everything about the campgrounds, except for the showers. How can you take a decent shower - after hiking the trails - when you have to hit the button every 10 seconds. Very difficult to give a child a shower. Please set a decent amount of time for the shower to stay on. Our family loves walking Trail 2 - the creek bed. Luckily there was some rain and the falls were beautiful and creek bed had some decent pools of water. The youngest one loves to get as wet as possible. We seen three black rat snakes, but no copperheads. Another thing to think about, if you have two vehicles.. park one at the trail entrance and one at the end. After walking miles, you dont really feel like walking the road another three miles to get back to your starting point. If you are able, drive around the park around dusk. We always see wild turkeys, deer, and plenty of rabbits. The pool is very nice. There were plenty of DNR patrolling the campground. It was very peaceful as always.

We came to the park to walk some trails. Most of the trails are pretty difficult to navigate, but the views are nice. Waterfalls aren't at their peak in July, but we did see one nice one. Would like to return in the spring. We didn't stay in the lodge but stopped by to take a look. It is beautiful!
