The Fig Tree Cafe is a welcome addition to the selection of eateries in Lebanon. Their sandwiches are WONDERFUL and they use lots of fresh, local ingredients and can be made to be gluten-free. The desserts here are amazing, too!

Went exploring for lunch and found this on the way to a vacation spot. Loved loved loved my sandwich. Enjoyed the many bottled beverage choices, from sparkling water to Coke still in a bottle. Cool place with character. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Will be going back when our road passes that way again. Great prices.

Even though We ordered food before the local customers, we were served the last. Finally, when all the locals sandwiches are prepared ours was ready but the server did not bring our food to our table saying that he needs to serve the ice cream of the locals before bringing our sandwiches even though These local kafies had ordered their sabdwiches and ice creams after us. And the server was kind of rude , he did not even say sorry for keeping us waiting for so long. STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL

My husband and I had lunch at the Fig Tree on a Friday afternoon. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The owners, husband and wife team Levi and Bethany, do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome as soon as you step in the door!

They have a large selection of sandwiches that you don't typically see at a deli. Hearty soups and healty salads are available, as well as chips and fruit. Don't even get me started on the amazing baked goods, all attractively displayed on pretty cake plates!

I had my favorite, When Turkey Met Reuben, a hearty, warm sandwich plenty of dressing and gooey cheese. My husband tried The Honey Badger - their description says it all "Let's just say a little bit of everything!" The sandwich was so huge he needed a fork.

I always make a point to sample Bethany's baked goods, whether it's a fresh baked scone, a large fluffy slice of cake, or her gooey cake truffles. Everything is baked fresh on site - no store bought goods in sight! As a bonus, Bethany typically keeps one or two gluten free but equally flavorful baked goods on hand, if that's a concern for you.

What really makes the Fig Tree special, aside from the amazing food, is the genuinely warm and inviting home town atmosphere they've cultivated. They love what they do, and the people they serve, and it shows. We love this place, and always stop in for lunch and great conversation.

The service was great. However, the food was disappointing. The cupcakes were dry. The scone had a moldy flavour about it and the coffee was lukewarm.
