The slope have an interesting story about how Mr Perfect (what a name) was approached by a local ski bum aka geography major who said the slopes of his farm would be perfect for skiing due to there northern facing. Thus after much convincing Prefect North was born.
The slopes are about the best in the KY, IN, IL and OH area. The terrain is challenging in places and the best you will find in the lower Midwest. Some real drop and variety here.
The resort can get crowed on the weekends, but nights and week days are clear. The area draws from the 3 state areas primarily. It is a day use area no lodging on site but plenty near by at CVG airport 15 miles away.
I have skied here often and consider it my home slope. It is always worth the 90 min drive from Louisville. Not Vail or even Seven Springs but it will do.
