We checked in the evening of Black Friday. Lady at the counter was nice. We waited ten minutes for the elevator to find out that a lady had been stuck in the elevator for over ten minutes. Scary that when she rang the warning bell in the elevator that it cannot be heard at the front desk or in the hotel. We were changed from third floor room to first floor room. The room was very clean. Bed was broken down in the queen one I slept on. It seemed as if you fell in a big dip in the mattress. Two really big issues for us. In most hotels I have stayed at, in a room with two queens, you usually get four bath towels, four wash rags, and hand towels. This hotel you get two of each. While usually enough, a lot of women like to use a towel for hair and one for body. The second thing that was a big issue, was the bath towels were the roughest I have ever encountered. They were like sandpaper. Breakfast was a small breakfast. Couple kinds of bread, only fruit was banana, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs left in shell, yougart, milk, juice, some muffin, bagel. The hot items was biscuits and gravy and waffles. The biscuits were very tough as if they had been over heated. Checkout was fast, as the attendant didn't ask about stay or room. Just said I didn't need to sign anything. So all in all, clean hotel for a one night stay, nice attendant on check in, but but some other things could be a lot better.
We were given a room that had been smoked in and smelled terrible although we booked a non-smoking room.
Thank You for your review of your recent stay. We do apologize that your stay was less than satisfactory, our hotel is a non smoking hotel, however some people do not care and smoke in the rooms anyway, which they get charged a fee for, we do hope you will give our hotel another try if your in the area again.
